With all the doom-mongers on here you may want to consider what actually happens when the so called star player moves on.
Ronaldo
08/09 last season with Utd 90 points finished 1st
09/10 85 points finished 2nd
10/11 80 points finished 1st
11/12 89 points finished 1st
12/13 89 points finished 1st
Henry
06/07 last season with Arsenal 68 points finished 4th
07/08 83 points finished 3rd
08/09 72 points finished 4th
09/10 75 points finished 3rd
Van Persie
11/12 last season with Arsenal 70 points finished 3
12/13 73 points finished 4th
13/14 79 points finished 4th
Bale
12/13 last season with Spurs 72 points finished 5th
13/14 69 points finished 6th
None of the above suffered a dramatic fall off their normal points after the departures even Spurs who were more of a one man team than any although maybe Arsenal with Van Persie. The test is how you deal with it and I believe we are well positioned to deal with the possible departure of Suarez because off the way the team plays and with what Rodgers is trying to build.
