FOOD COURT
the temple of food,
where Asians flock to appease the spirit of the tongue and stomach
where no mall of any repute can do without
where we gather for food of every imagination, taste, colours, texture and aroma
where gossips and gourmet tips are exchanged
where the hungry, the thirsty and the aimless gather

FOOD COURT, where hunters can put aside their bows and arrows
it is here where milk and honey flows
you aint lived yet till you have gone to the food court

KLCC.

KLCC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Malaysia is home to a plethora of wonderful foods conveniently located and you post a picture of the KLCC food court?

Anyone who's been to Oriental City (formerly Yaohan Plaza) on the Edgeware Road in London will be able to get an idea of the food court (but on a smaller scale)

I had a plate of ox tounge with macau sauce the other day. It was quite yummy.

what actually is it ?

It's silken tofu (really slippery and with the consistency of . . . errr, well, it's hard to say actually. I guess the consistency is a bit like sort of jelly but not as squidgy, but not really *that* like it. If you've ever had miso soup then the type of tofu you get in that is silken tofu).

That is then covered in a layer of sweet syrup, which balances out the near complete lack of flavour of the tofu.

It's a bit weird at first if you're not used to it, very very different from any kind of Western dessert, certainly 'an acquired taste' but it's well good

[/quote]

Because you're posting when the Asians are up and the Westerners are asleep. ;D

I kind of like this thread, some tho don't seem to like it too much.

I think i'd better rescind Y1's authorization to post more food pictures. ;D

As I mentioned, we Malaysians can go on talking about food for ages.
