If ever there is a need to prove money is not the only factor in building a successful team

Yeah, that Dortmund team cost peanuts. I wonder how Klopp will rebuild if he does end up losing Hummels as well as Goetze and Lewandowski. Perhaps one or two more. Interesting.

On an aside, Enrique didn't cost 12.5M, did he? I thought it was around 6.5M.

I've been far more happy with Enrique's contribution down the left this season than with Johnson's down the right.
I've always liked Johnson but maybe it's time we looked for a replacement?

Much as I like Kelly we really can't rely on him to stay fit for 2 weeks, let alone a season. I have zero faith in that other young scouse lad who's name I forget.
Is it worth persevering with Johnson/Kelly next season while we await a talent to come through from the youth?
Modo, Macca. Any right back with huge potential in the reserves/U18s?

haha...my fav...Ryan McLaughlin.

Enrique has been good and Johnson disappoint, that picture is awfully wrong, so I don't trust the Dortmund figures.

The multiplier is 6x so there's shitloads of tolerance in the margin. Whatever the actual figures are the fact is Dortmund have built on the cheap with really low wages and have been massively successful. Now that the team is seen to be up there with the best the individuals are moving on to get the wages they dreamed of.
