We'll get enough from Suarez. Plus a decent accumulation from Carroll, Assaidi and maybe Downing. That should give us enough to buy three good players and a Suarez replacement.

Based on what exactly? Because he's been banned for 10 games?? He got banned for 8 last time and still stayed, why would it be any different now?
Because it's happened for a second time, and we're not appealing this time (I know we didn't appeal last time, but we had a chance to make a strong defence), I think Luis would rightfully had enough, I'm just basing this on a gut feeling, I think he'll go.

why don't have a strong defence though. So i don't see how luis can feel he has a right to go. If anything he should be feeling he owes the club for standing by him again after another fuck up. So i think he'll stay.
either way 20m plus the sales of skrtel, downing, carrol and assaidi should give us betwen 40-50m all together. Get 2 CB's and a defensive midfielder and see what change we have after that. Oh chances are we'll be back in for ince again as well.
Also worth noting that we mostly need defensive reinforcements, which generally tend to be cheaper. As Stu says, if Rodgers can find similar value as he has done with Sturridge and Coutinho then we'll be much better equipped next season.
It would be disappointing to see Skrtel go because he was tremendous last year, but if we can convince Carragher to stay another year then Martin should be fucked off.

Priority: CB, DM, AM - but as ever, quality of players is the biggest factor.
I don't think we need another striker, even if Borini goes. Sturridge and Suarez are both capable of leading the line if one gets injured or the other one does something mental, and they've scored plenty of goals with a third choice striker being injured all year.

Could we have agreement this season on targets?
- 2 central defenders seems to be the main concern.
- A third striker is essential. Suarez, Studge with the mighty mouse behind them isn't enough for a new season.
- A decent CM might be good, but Allen and Hendo will get another season right?
- How about another winger, or is Downing, Raheem, and Coutinho, and Enrique, enough options?
