This COULD work:
......................................REINA...........................................
MAGIC..................CARRA..........GREEK..................AURELIO
........................RAUL......................CHRISTIAN...................
MAXI.............................PACHECO...............................COLE
.................................TORRES.............................................
We'd probably be able to string more passes together at least than in any of the Wigan and Stoke games.
I'd definitely include the Greek somehow as we need a threat on setpieces.
Poulsen was as poor as I've ever seen him once again for Denmark last night - but only in the first 20 minutes or so - and then he suddenly looked more like the player I remembered him to be. A few well hit long passes, many quick one-two's and even made a few good interceptions as well.
Shelvey should be very close to a start here as well after his inspiring 45 against Blackpool midweek, but I'd probably be tempted to start with a bit more routine in central and then give the very promising Pacheco a go in his preferred position in behind the striker. He was very good for the Reserves yesterday too and alongside Maxi and Cole we should be cabaple of playing West Ham of the park.
I've got a strange optimistic feeling about this game.
