You are presuming City win 5 on the spin though, can't see that happening tbh the way they are going.
I'd rather not rely on City dropping points to win the title. Sunderland did us a massive favour by bringing the target down from 12 to 10 points. That's all we should be thinking about at the moment.

I think that Sunderland penalty decision was the right one, Altidore lost his footing on Azpilcuetas sliding leg. If the challenge wasn't made Altidore would've been able to stay upright.

Stupid Azpilipuletalipilipala whatever. He should've left Altidore standing because the oaf can't do shit with the ball anyway.

and wasn't mourinho banging on earlier in the season about how lukaku being at everton was good for them as he was damaging their rivals with his goals. And now one of our loan players scores the winner against him . ha .

Tomorrow now is absolutely huge. Win and we're 5 ahead of Chelsea. If they have a tough game against Atletico which leaves them in with a chance of the final, they might prioritise their energy for that second game and not have the stomach for our game. Norwich is the biggest league game we've had in 20+ years for me.

Fair enough but you are pretty much saying Chelsea losing doesn't mean anything, of course it does, that was a massive result for us.

It takes the title out of their hands, but doesn't really benefit us in any way.

Of course it benefits us. They're one of our two rivals, and now much less so. That has to be good. Eg, if City were to draw another before the end of the season, this result means we could actually afford to lose against Chelsea and still win it. Or draw against Chelsea AND Palace. Etc.

It's great news.

About Borini - I thought that was a decent performance from him by Sunderland standards. He looked like the only player bar Alonso who could actually pass and move, and I thought he kept it simple and helped with their ball retention (or whatever little of that they had). Wickham played a big part in their game in the first half as well - he looks slow, but he held up the ball well for them when they lumped it to him, relieving some pressure on the team well.

Chelsea? They're a fucking mess. Ha Ha Ha!
