I'm not disgreeing with that mate.. but when you look at him overall as a player he's got a helluva lot ging for him.

Like Johnson he'll probably never be the best defensively but he's still extremely young and with more games
..he can only improve that part of his game.

Would we beat the dross more often though?

Maybe, maybe not. I'd prefer to see that 10M odd go towards attacking talent though.

Me too. And not that we could get Bale for 10 M now anyways. Not now that 'arry thinks he's the greatest left-sided player in the world. *eyes stick in back of head*

I wasn't aware Bale was playing mostly in left midfield now though.
