Felt sorry for Jenkinson. Walcott (the prick) gave him an early bollicking about his position that didn't help. He had no cover. Arshavin was also pathetic. Fuck it the lot of them were pathetic, Ramsey was decent on the ball but he had NO help.

Didn't like the keepers position for Rooney first free kick, back tracking from the off set due to being a few yards off his line.

La Liga starts tonight too. Malaga away to Sevilla at 5/2 could be bet worth considering. Lots of new players.

I actually feel a bit sorry for Arsenal, 8-2 is just ridiculous. Cant remember the last time I saw such a poor Arsenal team. A midfield trio of Arshavin, Ramsey and Rosicky is just asking for trouble.

Redknapp with a dig at Levy in his post match interview, loved the 5-1 drubbing. At least as City were winning, they could demolish Spurs while doing so. A draw would have been ace though.

So it's fair to say Champions League qualification is looking like a realistic ambition this season then? How do Arsenal pick themselves up after this?

I don't feel sorry for the cunts at all.

I said it in the Arse match thread, but it deserves to be repeated,

"HOOF" *these !*

Smug twats.

I don't feel remotely sorry for them either. I've never forgiven the cunts for that 4-4 back in 2009. That's the worst I've ever felt after a game that, including Athens.

I've never forgiven Arshavin for that. He's basically been shite since.

Hasn't he just ?

And he's so confident/cocky/arrogant.

The shitebag.

The obligatory old Trafford Webb Peno.
[/quote]

I watched 10 seconds of the match and these were exactly the penalty situation.

Zapped in, saw a soft penalty, Webb's silly face, the replay and zapped out then.

Thats now 6 penalties in his last 11 matches at OT. Webb has been one of Feriges best sigings.

I presume you're too young to remember the 0-2 in the final game of the 89 season? I haven't forgiven Arsenal for THAT.

"Arsenal Football Club has announced it will be writing to fans who travelled to Old Trafford on Sunday with an offer to cover the cost of a match ticket at a future Barclays Premier League away game," a club statement read.

"Sunday's result was obviously disappointing for everyone connected with the club. Our travelling fans were magnificent throughout and we want to recognise their fantastic support. We will be writing to them shortly with the details."

At the end, Rosicky Arshavin Chamakh headed straight down tunnel. Van Persie shouted at them to come back & salute #afc fans. Chaos

class from the perse.

The Arsenal supporters were brilliant in fairness.

Although they could do with some better songs.

'We love you Arsenal, we do Ohhhhhhhhhzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz'

Barcelona starting with a 3-4-3 today, with Mascherano, Busquets, and Abidal at the back. Wierd.

They're reinventing football.

It seems weird but then again Barca are in a class of their own and with them having so much possession, their defence aren't under pressure often.

Barca 1-0 up. Thiago with the goal.

2 Barcelona and La Liga debuts, a goal a piece.

Sanchez scores

Thiago has been immense, goal and 2 assists
