I'm not sure you should be able to legally buy Poutine, either. Fuck me, I've had some amazing chips/ gravy/ peas/ curry sauce combos in my time, but this was a fucking joke: chips, gravy, cheese (not curds, purists) and bacon.

I have no idea why anyone would want to put cheese with chips & gravy, but it's all kinds of wrong. Bacon I can live with, you could put bacon on ice cream (I'm pretty sure Americans do), & it'd be forgivable.

Don't knock it until you've tried it ! Poutine is real comfort food. Sadly I have to forego it since deciding to lose weight 18 months ago.
I used to eat that when I lived in Vancouver. It's huge over there.
I always thought some hipster should open up a poutine pop up in Dublin or Cork.
I wasn't aware poutine was available outside Canada. It's practically our national dish.
