I haven't questioned Henderson's importance to the team. I'm questioning his leadership ability. It's not the same thing imo.

I want to avoid the bellend argument, but it really helps

When you're at the game (I'm sorry, I don't mean this badly), you notice how much Henderson talks to those around him, and help with their positioning.

Reasons why I don't want Hendo as captain:
1. I don't see Hendo as a leader. Yes he captained the England U21s, it's not the same thing as Liverpool. Fuck, Wisdom was captain of the U21s.

2. He has confidence issues. I'm not questioning his work ethic, I'm talking about how it took him two years to hold on to the ball for more than 10 seconds in a game.

3. He's first and foremost a Sunderland fan.
