Has Bredan Rodgers picked a new vice captain after Agger's departure? Haven't seen any news on this. Personally I would pick either Henderson or Lovren. Henderson for his tenacity though he seems to be perpetually in his Captain's shadow. Lovren for his command in the area, well at least he is steadier than Sakho in comparison, though his recent arrival might work against him. Any other candidates? e.g Lallana was Southampton captain

Henderson is a bit of a shouter too. I remember him yelling at other players to change position or protect a zone. The short time that Lovren is here would work against him I reckon.

I think Johnson and Lucas will struggle to reclaim their place in the long term and given what happened with Agger, it has to be someone who is nailed on to start every game they are available for, which is clearly Hendo. Would be a great vote of confidence for him too.

Skrtel isn't the craziest choice I don't think. Again, depending on how the next few games go, his place could be in jeopardy if the two lads put in a few good shifts.

It'd be complete insanity for it to go to anyone but Henderson. I fully expect Stevie to hand the full captaincy to him next season, or at the longest, the season after as well.

He's already the captain on the pitch in all but name, anyone watching us in the flesh should be able to verify that.

Henderson! Lad is a role model for everyone. His work ethic could make a football career for the most modestly talented footballers. He reminds me of Lampard in that regard. Making the absolute most out of his skillset.
