...and in light of Skrtel's injury, would you keep Masher at right back and Stevie in centre midfield?

Yossi is back so he 'can' play the hole position, or we could always just play Kuyt and Torres upfront and alternate the left winger..

Anyway, thoughts? Are we wasting Masher there, or is it a case of needs must? I thought he did well, at least going forward, he was positionally a bit mad in terms of still wanting to be everywhere breaking up the play, but by and large right now, we could do alot worse.

I'd personally be very tempted to throw Kelly in at the deep end to be honest.

He looked class the few times we've seen him and I'd prefer to have Masher back in the engineroom.

Kelly at least deserves a chance, but I'm not counting my chickens with him yet, and that would leave us with two young, inexperienced fullbacks trying to help us get in the top four. I know Masher is out of position but at least he has the experience, and so does Lucas, who's hardly the worst at the DM role, or at deputising at it. I thought he did well enough against Blackburn when you consider he was alongside Stevie who hasn't played there in ages and still wanted to roam like in his normal role, and we were up against one of the most physical sides in the league.

I wouldn't have a problem with mash at RB back but I think what's more likely is the greek at center back with carra at RB. if agger is injuried than it will get interesting who plays at RB

Yeah fair point re the Greek, assuming Agger is fit I think that'll be the more likely option.

Could play Aqualani in the 'hole' Mark.

By the way, when is Johnson back anyway?

Not sure mate, I'm guessing it's soon, I think Rafa said as much last week.. We could play Aquilani there, but my guess is we'll leave £20m worth of player on the bench, just because we can. At least we can't moan then about not having strength in depth, eh Rafa?

I'd play kelly at right back although mash was absolutely fantastic at RB.
[/quote]

Errr, no he wasnt - he played very well for a guy playing out of position, but against better/ more dynamic sides he'll get ripped to pieces with the same positional sense

Masher has to go back into the middle.

Either keep Carragher at RB and Spartan in the middle, or throw in Kelly.

Both are decent options which shouldn't cost us.

Wigan (A), Lille (A), Portsmouth (H), Lille (H), United (A), Sunderland (H), Birmingham (A), Fulham (H), West Ham (H), Burnley (A).

I can see Rooney ripping us apart, but aside from that it's a decent few months for us.

The Greek should be alright.

Yes, and we have an opportunity to get some revenge on the likes of Portsmouth, Sunderland and Fulham, and ensure they do not do the double over us

what masher does from now on (if played at RB) is neither here nor there to how he played at the weekend and at the weekend he was fantastic.

I can see us raising our game for the trip to United, but yeah Rooney is the big worry from those fixtures, obviously. Other than that we should be hoping to take maximum points from the other fixtures listed.

When Magic comes back id like to see

I hate to say it for fear of the reaction but I'm not sure I'd be so willing to trust Carra in the center of the park again (unless Agger is out also). We've looked so much better since he's been at RB and we looked all to pieces again on corners and free kicks on Sunday. We need Sparta in the center of the park, its vital against.
so many of the premiership to be strong on set pieces; and he's also a threat going the other way.

I bet fucking Lucarse can't believe his luck!

*Masher having to play at RB
*Alonso sold
*Alonso's replacement Purple Aqui injured and also rubbish
*Gerrard playing a more advanced role
*Casper being injured or required to play on the left or right flank
*A mental manager who thinks he's a good player

It's all conspiring to ensure he plays every game for Liverpool, despite being fucking shit

He'll end up fucking Captain at this rate

What an absolute and total load of quacking bollocks - there's your reaction for you.

The reason that we were "all to pieces" (which we werent), or rather "uncomfortable" on Sunday was that Klasnic was pulling off onto Agger, who looked unusually fragile. Since Agger has been fit enough to partner Carragher our CB have looked in a different class to where they were at the beginning of the season.

Perhaps if he were to ingest or otherwise absorb some of his semen, and a bit of blood, he might be able to take on some of his powers?

Rather like in the disturbing, yet strangely compelling, Urotsukidoji

gerrard - 'go on lucas suck it, you'll play just like me if you do, I swear'

lucas - 'really?!'

gerrard - 'REALLY, now get to it and mind those teeth'
