what the fuck is this ? - this seems all rushed - don't like this at all - we are getting an ex-spitter, - bollox to this.

Pearce says obligation to buy not option

Joyce says option to buy not obligation

Translation. No one knows.

How sure are you that Car is any better than this lad? Hands up, I haven't watched enough of either to say who is better than who, or indeed if either is good enough.

But I do remember many on here wanted Sarr over Jota.

I don't have a clue, mate.
I have only done some deep you tube video research.
They appear quite different in style. Car is a beast in the air, strong and can play a long pass.
Kabak can carry the ball out of defense, is strong and also seems a solid tackler.

It seems to me that if we are pushing for an option rather than an obligation to buy Kapak, there are concerns about either his ability or his temperament, to make it at Liverpool

Is it not likely that we would rather have the option to buy rather than obligation is so we don't have to buy if the first choice options are available in the summer, but at least we have a centre back for the remainder of the season.
I also think we are pursing him as our squad size is already 25 (including Davies), but as he is under 21 it is not an issue.

Yeah, this is my understanding aswell. The big question is how many games will Davies and potentially Kabak get between them for the rest of the season?

If we can get an option as opposed to an obligation, why wouldn't we? Its a no brainer

Yup, I'll rather pay a higher loan fee than be obliged to buy. We get to assess him while also keeping options open

So is it a loan with an OPTION or an OBLIGATION?

Need more caps to clear up the confusion.
