Turkish Kabak..

I don't get why Le Tiss hates us so. Didn't we ditch a proposed transfer or something? Is that what has him so full of hatred?

He's just a bitter little dickhead. He was furious when we bought some players from Southampton and relished the chance to ask, 'How's it feel to be a feeder club' when Coutinho signed with Barca. It's the kind of thing you'd expect of a 12 year old rather than an ex-pro. We wanted certain players, Southampton had the right to say yes or no, they said yes and we paid them loads of cash. End of.

I find it laughable these days that he styles himself as some kind of utra-loyal club ambassador because he stayed there as a player. The only reason he stayed there was because he was a lazy fat-arsed show pony who knew he'd have to actually work hard at a big club. That's why people like Venables and Hoddle disliked him. At Southampton he could do a couple of tricks, score a pen and then doze through three or four games.

Echo:

Ozan Kabak won’t be registered in Liverpool’s squad for the second half of the 2020/21 season.
But it won’t stop him from playing for the Reds with the Turkey international still young enough to be classed as one of the Reds’ Under-21s players.

Love that 2nd paragraph... I never rated him as much as so many others did, as a kid. His talent was other-worldly, yes. But his ambition was pitiful in it's complete and utter absence... If he'd had any drive whatsoever to be more than just a big fish in the tiniest of ponds, he could have ruled the world. Look at what sheer will has turned our own Hendo into, and he's got maybe 10% the talent that this prick had. But he didn't. And that's an unforgivable waste.

When you're born with what he had, you owe it to the world to at least try - And he never did. Wanker.

Yep. Amazing that he has a brother who is even thicker than he is. When Hoddle was England manager he decided, cautiously, to give Le Tissier a try, only for Le Tissier's brother to excitedly speak to loads of radio stations, not only announcing what the team was but also detailing the tactics. End of Matt's short-lived international career.

That can’t be right surely .

I think he goes against the non-home grown quota. But we had room on that list.

Dont know why the Echo has to twist everything nowadays.

What I meant he won’t be able to play in the first team?
Any U21 player can play in the first team - registered or not. It's why we didn't need to register him in the squad.

Not sure if CL rules are the same. We'll find out when that deadline comes around.

Seems a talented kid, and determined. Hopefully Klopp can coach him into a very good CB.
I dont like the attitude of those who seem to think he is less talented because of how Schalke's season has gone. Some of the pundits have been using that as a stick to beat him with. Seems very odd.

Just looked McKinnie and his move to Juventus. Struggling at a bad Schalke side last season, but now making a great impact for Juve.

Jules Lauren (sp.) on Ozan, plus a Davies ITK. I like Lauren, he doesn't pull his punches and talks a lot of sense.

Updated to (better) longer version.

Watching more videos and highlight (low light) videos. Man he loves to step out and dribble past the on-rushing striker (and on occasion this is a problem). Impressive long range passing (70% successful), mostly right to left, and even better heading stats, winning 76% (one of the best in Europe).

For an average height CB, he's got an impressive aerial win rate. That's promising.

It'll be a great bonus if he's indeed a big set piece threat. We've missed that.

Robbo & Mane can fill their boots from his supply then
