If my phone had an f5 button it'd have been worn by now & it's only 1pm. The sodding 'review' probably hasn't even started yet.

Shouldn't last long though.

"Brendan, that was a cunting clusterfuck of a season. See that there? Yeah, there, that's a door. Goodbye"

So with both Ings and Milner verbally agreeing to join Liverpool, that will be a new goalkeeper and left back in Rodgers eyes.

I can't see on what basis they would stick with him. There's too many alarm bells ringing, consistent failure to address defensive concerns, the lack of spirit and fight, transfer failings, muddled tactics, a vision in shatters, question marks over his authority and a fanbase who wants him out. We need excellence to compete with the richer clubs and we haven't got it.

How many of our players really play out of position?? Can at right back, a couple of wingers occasionally at wing back, that's about it. No more than any other side. Quelle surprise you're lining up wayward, exaggerated critisms.

Sterling is never a striker and Lovren is not a defender.

lol.. that made laugh...

Seriously though... Sterling is never a Striker..

Attacking Midfielder/ Second Striker.. Winger at best

His best position for us, where he seemed to excel.. was playing behind the front 2 last season..

BBC say the review is tomorrow.
Sounds about right.

Today is probably the pre-review introductory feeling out meeting with canapés. They will discuss things whilst continually 'car parking' & 'putting a pin' in issues.

Tomorrow will be the review, when they will revist the 'car park' & 'pinned' issues. Ian Ayre will provide the entertainment by parading through the eating area at midday on a succession of former Liverpool players shoulders.

Thursday will be the post-review review. They will review the issues that were put back in the 'car park' & left on the 'pinboard', decide that there's no way to find a solution now & agree to follow up halfway through the season. Ian Ayre will attempt to lighten the mood by setting off party poppers & letting some balloons go above anfield afterwards.

The d-day has been quoted as the 3rd of june by a few 'alleged ITK's' on social media over the last few weeks..

11 days makes it the 3rd June does it not? Would make sense to predict that if you wanted everyone to think you weren't a lying attention seeking cuntbag just making shit up & claiming you had sources at the club.

Not that I'm cynical or anything.

I read a load of bollocks on some blog last month that said the review was June 3rd and they'd made up their minds to sack him back in November.

Never heard of them TBH. How reliable are they?
That rumour has been flying round since before the last game. They just wrote it down.

I'd guess it originally came from a bluenose taxi driver.

It would be some achievement to come up with a scheme to hide their true intentions from November & then let enough people know about it that it ended up in detail on the interweb.

Why would they decide that in November? We could have gone on another run that took us into top four. Sounds like a load of shite. They would have their new man ready to take over in that case too.

I'd like to know what questions people would ask Rodgers is they were doing the review.

They can be serious or not, but I'd like some serious ones.

You cynical bastard.

It's impossible. We don't know what his job is, we don't know how often they talk, we don't know who above him reports to who is speaking to him.

1. Who are you?
2. What would you like to be when you grow up?

No, I'd ask him to explain just how, ideally, he wants his team to play, what's stopped him from doing so, and what players (the type and the individuals) he feels he needs to make it a reality.

Well yeah, but we could ponder some potential questions surely?

I don't expect us to be able to draft out a full bona-fide meeting like.

Why did we finish 6th when last season we finished 2nd?
Why after spending over 100million pounds did we struggle to score goals this season?
Why did you chose not to play with a striker for a lot of games this season when we've struggled to score goals?
Why did you buy these players last summer and not play them on a regular basis?
Why did we lose so many games against opposition we'd be expecting to beat?
If we left you in charge for anther season with exactly the same players and squad you have now, where do you think we'd finish?
What is needed to get us back into the top 4?
What is needed to get us challenging for the title?
What players are we looking to release from the 'roster' this summer and why?
What are the key areas of the team we need to improve this summer?
How do you propose to replace the captain?
What is the situation with sterling?

Those are the sort of things I guess they'd ask him.
