Unfortunately the article wont load for me, but I don't even need to read the article to agree with your point, what a shithouse of a club.

I think they took it down, or there's a problem with the page. Anyway, doesn't matter, Google Cache sorts it out. Nothing article anyway.

[article]Tottenham still hoping Liverpool transfer target Divock Origi will choose White Hart Lane

Belgium forward has rejected Spurs once already as he wants Champions League football but the Reds now plan to loan him back to Lille.

Tottenham have made a fresh attempt to hijack Liverpool’s move for Belgium World Cup star Divock Origi.

The north Londoners are refusing to accept defeat in the battle for the young forward’s signature, despite being rejected already.

We revealed last month that Brendan Rodgers' Reds were closing in on Origi after agreeing a £9.8million fee with his French club, Lille.

The player had chosen the Anfield giants despite moves from Spurs and West Ham to tempt him to the capital.

While West Ham are now looking elsewhere, their neighbours from White Hart Lane are not giving up.

It is understood Origi had opted for a move to Anfield as the Reds are able to offer him Champions League football next season. But Liverpool favour loaning him back to Lille for 2014-15, to give him more experience in Ligue 1.

Tottenham are ready to give the 19-year-old the chance to play Premier League football with them from August.

Origi took his chance to make an impact in Brazil despite being surrounded by a clutch of higher-profile stars in his national team.

Among his five appearances, he came off the bench to score the winner against Russia.

Tottenham are also keen on rivalling arch-enemies Arsenal’s interest in Southampton star Morgan Schneiderlin.

The 24-year-old France World Cup midfielder, who played under Spurs' new boss Mauricio Pochettino at St Mary’s in the last two seasons, has had a call from the Saints' freshly-appointed gaffer Ronald Koeman asking him not to join their summer exodus.

But the Gunners have already made contact with Southampton - who want £20million for the player - and Schneiderlin is keen on a move.

Earlier this week, he refused to commit his future to the club. He said: “Yes, he (Koeman) called me about a week ago. But what was said will stay between us.

“He wants me to stay and we’ll see. I don’t know yet.

"I still have three years left on my contract at Southampton. Nothing has happened, I am going to relax and go on holiday and we will see.”[/article]
