Transfer Rumours

Bertrand is a half decent player and hasn't done too much wrong when I've watched him play. He is young, quick and fairly strong with loads of potential to improve. He won't get anywhere the Chelsea team and ould be at best cover at Liverpool.

so cashley went to rome then, good, glad I don't have to see his rat face in a liverpool shirt

Let's hope it's like their extraordinary swoops last season, that culminated in a last minute panic buy that didn't like Stoke on a November night.
Indeed, wasn't it Suarez, Di Maria, Khederia, Lars Bender and Benzema last year? Of course being typical Arsenal fans they blamed a conspiracy by Levy to block their transfers to Arsenal as part of the Bale transfer as opposed to accepting the fact that they were never even interested/made a serious attempt to sign those players. Same old John Cross bullshit.

Are you arguing with yourself?

An article that says Suarez is on his way for 63 mill in the same story....
Lucas will move to Napoli imho.

M'Vila is close to joining Inter

Hull City have completed the signing of Tom Ince from Championship club Blackpool.

The 22-year-old had been linked with a host of clubs including Stoke and QPR but has decided to join the Tigers.
The frontman, having opted to remain in England in search of a Premier League club following talks with Italian giants Inter Milan, has signed a two-year-deal with Steve Bruce's side.

Should be in Confirmed Transfers instead, since this is erm confirmed! 🙂

James Pearce (Echo) has been tweeting overnight....

Thinks Lovren will happen

Moreno still no.1 LB target

Lucas to Napoli

Rodgers still after another striker

Markovic very highly rated and heavily scouted before buying - bought play to across attacking positions

We are 'actively' trying to sell Aspas!

Bayern Munich have announced the signing of Spain Under 21 international Juan Bernat from Valencia on a five-year deal.

Bayern did not disclose the fee for the 21-year-old full-back, who can also operate as a winger, but media reports quoted a figure of €10million (£7.9m).
'Bernat is an extraordinary young player who we've been watching for a long time,' said sporting director Matthias Sammer.

Apparently, Lucas unfollowed the official LFC Twitter account and sent Twitter users into a headspin. Which is probably not difficult. Like putting them in a room full of hammers and telling them to take their pick

I would like to see somebody actually pay money for him.

It has to be a transfer though not another loan if we're letting him go.

Right, this post here, is exactly what reports off twitter should look like.

Not lazily copied & pasted, just few summaries with a reliable source.

I think we can all agree that's much healthier & works well.

Agreed, will do the same.

I actually prefer the source to be given whatever the medium is. It annoys me when there is a copy and paste job from a website or newspaper but no source. Twitter is only short anyway. You may as well put the tweet as paraphrase it. I also do not understand why people on twitter do it instead of just retweeting it.

This was a good summary of a series of tweets however.

The Mail says Manchester United are looking to bring in Swiss left back Ricardo Rodriquez to provide competition for new signing Luke Shaw. United are thought to be assessing their options should Patrice Evra leave for Juventus and Wolfsburg defender Rodriguez fits the bill.

The Mirror says that Romelu Lukaku won't stomach another season on loan and instead wants to be playing Champions League football for a club at which he is permanently under contract.

Joe Hart might have to set his sights elsewhere soon. Willy Caballero, the Argentinian goalkeeper, has touched down for a medical at Manchester City.

The Manchester Evening News has pictures of him, well, walking, while the Guardian notes that Cabellero was signed by Manuel Pellegrini from Malaga and will not have arrived at the Etihad to be an also-ran. Any false moves of the type that let Costel Pantilimon in this past season, and Hart might face a far sterner task in getting his place back. Caballero was first linked with City a year ago -- slightly predictably, or so it seemed -- and now Pellegrini seems to have gotten his man.

Fair enough, if it's one tweet. If there's a few though it looks a fucking mess having them all pasted in.

He did give the source clearly though, journo's name & publication.
