I don't know about this... Said a couple of seasons ago when Mo first arrive and had that dream season that Mane looked a bit jealous of the attention and adulation that Salah was getting from the supporters, and it looked to me that he consider myself to be number one at the club... It seem to have settled down a bit between them both, with the excpetion of that spat last season when Salah did not past the ball to Mane.

But ego can make players feel more improtant than the are in a teams system... Case inpoint Coutinho... It would not suprise me, (Said it a season back); If Mane makes that move.
Although I feel that he would fit in at Barca' better than Real
Umm, Sadio Mane? Ego?

I am prepared to see one of them go this summer for a ridiculous fee to be reinvested like Coutinho.

I don’t think it will be happen, but need to prepare myself or the possibility after Coutinho talked about becoming a legend with a statue.

If one leaves, I think Mo is more likely. He has consistently been more focused on himself, wanting awards, winning golden boots, etc. Mane probably cares just as much, but is much more quiet about his ambition and seems the more team player.

Lingard finished the 2019 season without a goal or an assist. I’m sure Leicester would love to sign him.

We can confirm that #BrentfordB forward Joe Hardy has joined
@LFC
for an undisclosed fee.

David Ornstein (writes for the Athletic) saying there is serious interest in Gini from Spain and Italy but believes the club would rather risk losing him on a free in 18 months..

Sounds like a something rumour but then again , who in our first team squad wouldn't have 'serious interest' from around Europe?

We can confirm that #BrentfordB forward Joe Hardy has joined
@LFC
for an undisclosed fee.
Hardy is a 21-year-old forward from the Wirral who was previously at Manchester City‘s academy and has scored 40 goals in 80 games for ‘Brentford B’.

Brentford have confirmed the move to the European Champions, but Hardy has already joined up with his new club and was on the bench for the Reds’ Under-23s against Man City on Sunday afternoon.
Brentford’s B team coach said: “He’s perhaps come to the end of his time with the club in terms of the strategy, and to go to a club the size of Liverpool can only be good for him.
“The club are flying at the moment, they’re European champions, and potential Premier League winners, so being in and around that environment can only be good for Joe. He’s certainly going from an environment here that has prepared him properly.
“We’ve said it in recent months, that not all of our players will go on to play for Brentford’s first team, but what we want to do is give them a career and this is a step forward in Joe’s career and his mind to go to Liverpool and compete with the under-23 group and see where it takes him.”
Hardy arrives as another young Liverpool forward looks set to head out on loan, with Rhian Brewster expected to join Swansea City on Monday for the rest of the season.

A 21-year-old who has yet to make a first-team appearance seems like a strange signing, but he has a huge opportunity to impress for the Reds’ under-23s with Brewster heading out on loan and Paul Glatzel still sidelined.

Sounds like he is only filling a spot in the under 23's

Been targetted as a Bobby Duncan replacement. But obviously needed this month after Brewster leaves on loan.

Wow. Really glowing endorsement there.

I neither read news papers nor watch gossip talk shows.

You may know more about football and Liverpool than I but I watch people and there reactions and I have am a very good judge of them because of it...

At the start of last season I was tell people that Sane was not happy at Man City and that was mainly due to Pep, and was call all types of fool for suggesting it, I even suggested we put in a cheat bid for him, although I suggested Bayern would be his destination....

And guess what..?

I have also been saying for over a year now that if one of the front three where to leave it would be Mane...

He does not like playing second fiddle to Mo.

Mo has had the Big European experiance in Roma (Well fairly Big) Mane has not experianced it yet, so I am guessing that his head would be turned before Mo's by the possiblity of a move by Real for one of them

I agree that he might not like playing second fiddle to Salah but I also think Mané is one of the most humble players we have and for that reason I don't think he'd leave without cause. Sadio seems to get along with everyone. Just look at him and Firmino mimicking each others celebrations or him and Van Dijk. Keita sticks to him like glue. Did you see the clip of Deeney and him talking after the game. How he asked him to look after Sarr?

I just don't see the same with Salah.

Yeah, when Mane was cleaning the bogs in the mosque in Toxteth after scoring two goals was he scrubbing away dreaming of cleaning a toilet in Madrid?

He is clearly so at home here, and I'd like to think he won't have his head turned.

I am not infallible and can make mistakes like the next man, Thank you for at least not dismissing what I said out of hand.... Thank you

Yes I notice all you said with Mane and the other members of our squad, and I would be happy to be wrong on this matter. I hope we keep them both for along time.

I would prefer to carry on believing that you are infallible.....Thank you

...??
infallible
/ɪnˈfalɪb(ə)l/

adjective

  1. incapable of making mistakes or being wrong.
    "doctors are not infallible"

Similar: unerring error-free unfailing faultless flawless impeccable perfect true uncanny

precise accurate meticulous scrupulous spot on on the money

I am not any of these though you seem to disagree 🙂

Brendan will appreciate you explaining the meaning of infallible, Don.

Maddison to United appaz

Utd are a mid table team now, whilst Leicester are a team with top 4 and recent league winning pedigree, if he goes there, with the state of their squad, it's purely for the money as he'll be giving up all hope of winning anything with that manager.

Harry MaGuire joined united from Leicester 😉

Apparently he did it purely for footballing reasons 😀
