Transfer rumours

The funny thing about all of this is there is no guarantee Neymar, Messi, Suarez and Griezmann will be all that great playing together as a front 4. If they end up buying Neymar, I don’t see why they needed Griezmann at all.

Good thing they've got a progressive attack-minded coach that will find a... oh wait.

If Rurik wants him...

As one person put on the tweet.. "A Generational Talent".

Alas, I'd say he's 95% Bayern bound.

It would make sense if we're holding off on other targets because Klopp is determined to get Havertz, whether it's this season or next, similar to how he was willing to wait for Van Dijk. The player himself recently ruled out any move this summer:
For me, it has long been clear that I will spend the next season in Leverkusen, without any ifs and buts. I feel very well in Leverkusen and I see a period here in which I can develop very well. At some point I will take the next step. If it comes to that, then no one will be angry with me here. You just want to achieve the most possible in your career.

My guess is that LFC would love to do a Keita-type deal with Bayer, but they have little incentive since prices in the market keep rising and there will be a bidding war for him next summer, with Bayern pulling on all the stops to get him. He is contracted until summer 2022. It could work in our favor that they don't want to sell their best talent to Bayern yet again, but until the player decides that he wants to come to LFC and rejects all other suitors, we won't have a deal.

That's good news that he isn't moving this summer. Cause we won't buying nobody for big money this summer...

Have to admire Reus who has resisted München during his entire Dortmund career. However it seems as if Havertz is bound to join them.
I don't know how big Klopp's pull with Germans is. I thought he'd bring a bunch of them over with him but so far, Matip, Karius and that's it I think.
He tried to sign Draxler and Goretzka but they didn't want to come. Not sure but I think he tried with Gundogan as well but he also turned him down.

According to the news the Gambian player Alpha Jallow got his dream move from Portugese minor club to Turkish Memenemspor (Not exactly giants them either). He was flown in, signed and photgraphed after the Turkish club had seen a few youtube videos of the talent. A small twist was that they had actually seen a video of the Gambian internation Lamin Jallow who plays for Salernitana in Serie B in Italy. Hence They had to cancel the deal and blamed it on failed medical. Alpha Jallow is now without a club.

Koldrup case all over again....

Giving off Degen vibes.

Rumours about Philipp Max. An LB from Augsburg. 18 mill

Barca were after him earlier in the window, but possibly not now after they've gone on a spending spree and they're trying to buy the diving one.
Can't see him being the sort of player that will want to spend most of the season on the bench - he's meant to be really good, just not one of the best there is like Robbo.

https://www.caughtoffside.com/2019/...ent-of-completing-25m-transfer-in-coming-days 25m for Ryan Sessenion (sp), a player who can play LB, LW and striker. That is a bargain
Nah, it's fair value nothing more. I've never been convinced and thought Fulham should have cashed in for the £50m - £60m that was touted at the end of last season. He is still very young and could come good but as I stated £25m is fair value and anything more than that is a risk not worth taking.

Bayern seem to rarely get involved with players who are being chased by clubs that can compete with them financially, preferring to rely on their domestic prestige and comtacts within the German game to wrap up players before they come onto the radar of other big fish. If we were to table a significant id I wouldnt be at all surprised to see Bayern back away. They are not a club we should fear getting into a bidding war with.

Zidane "Gareth Bale wasn't in the matchday squad today because the club is negotiating his departure...I hope it's soon, that would be the best for everyone".

Zidane "It's nothing personal against Gareth. It's just I have to take decisions. These things happen."
