Transfer Rumours 21/22

[article]Bournemouth have set their asking price for Arnaut Danjuma this summer with Liverpool one of the clubs interested, according to reports.

The Cherries missed out on promotion back to the Premier League after being beaten by Brentford in the play-offs, condemning them to a second straight season in the Championship.

Danjuma scored 17 and assisted eight goals in all competitions during the 2020-21 campaign, with reports in June saying that his performances had caught the eye of Leicester, Lyon and Wolfsburg.

After joining from Club Brugge in 2019, Danjuma struggled to adjust to life in England, not scoring or assisting any goals in his 14 Premier League appearances.

However, an excellent Championship campaign has made the 24-year-old hot property
, and Bournemouth’s failure to be promoted could leave them with little choice but to cash in.

Spanish publication Marca claim that the Cherries are demanding €25m (£21.3m) for their winger and Liverpool are ‘among’ the clubs interested.

Jurgen Klopp is reportedly looking to bring in a new attacker this summer at Liverpool with a number of players like Adama Traore and Federico Chiesa already linked.

The newspaper particularly concentrates on interest from Villarreal in Danjuma, who is said to be ‘first on the list of options’ for the La Liga outfit.

Villarreal have already made an offer of €15m for Danjuma but Bournemouth aren’t willing to accept that for a player they paid €16m for two years ago.

The Championship side have ‘revalued him to the point that several Premier [League] teams have been interested in his services’.

Bournemouth manager Scott Parker admitted a few days ago that there was a “possibility” that Danjuma could leave this summer.

Parker said: “At this moment in time he is our player, like I said last time, if he was fit he would be playing.

Don't really care if Chelsea get Lukaku. Flat track bully and would be dumb to come back given he's doing so well in that shit league

Also, as has been said before, Kane is a big bottler. Love to see the drama
He’s infinitely improve them in front goal compared with Werner.

It’s a lot simpler than that, although it may require your ritual sacrifice if The Curse of Dreamy carries into this season.

This is like Gremlins... 3 rules you need to follow :
1. Do not make any predictions
2. Do not place any bets
3. Most importantly... absolutely do not... whatever the circumstance.. start a fucking match thread!!!!
😀

Cristian Romero will fly to London in the next 24 hours for the next stage of the move after Tottenham agreed £47m fee with Serie A side Atalanta; 23-year-old Argentina centre-back made 42 appearances in all competitions last season

Where the fuck are Arsenal and Spurs getting their money from...they're not even in the fucking Europa league.

Yeah but it would mean they are unlikely to go for Haaland next season if they splash the best part of 100m on Lukaku this season and then be expected to find 130m+ for Haaland next.

Haaland has a release clause next year of £80m or something. Buy yeah, if they sign Lukaku, I doubt they'll get Haaland too.

Maddison to Arsenal? Another player at the Emirates who doesn't put the ball in the net? Fine. Weakens Leicester and doesn't do a whole lot to Arsenal at present, might be decent if they get a top quality attacker in the near future. Auba is shot and Laca is hot & Cold.

Håland would be wise to say at Dortmund for at least one more if not two seasons. Get genuinely better. Who knows by that time, the mad men in Spain may have got their hands on some idiot money and that would be a better move for him than to Chavski.

Why are we not linked to any decent players.
We could be trying to get rid of half-decent ones before we do that. Or, maybe, we feel already have some decent players already.

My only worry, at the moment, is that van Dijk and Gomez will not be as effective, at least in the beginning, as they were when they got injured. I'm just not sold on Matip staying injury-free.

They don’t have any money.

We don’t have significant debt.

Neither them, nor us has an oil rich state owning us that gives zero fucks about debt or money.

Spurs is already spending the Kane money. I always thought Arsenal has always had plenty of cash-- it was just used as collateral for Kroenke's other ventures in America.

Grealish and Sancho were the 2 English players (other than Liverpool players) I actually liked before this summer.

This Grealish transfer business is absolutely insane. I mean, he's a good player, but £100 million? Is that figure entirely based on the English media's depiction of him as England's saviour during the Euros? Because it's certainly not based on anything he's done on a football pitch. As things stand, he's no better than what they've got already.

Italian media reporting that the next Chelsea offer for Lukaku could be in the region of 120 mill.
Selling a player for 28 mill and then buying him again for 120 mill is the best example of a club with to much oil money.
