I could see Sterling going to Spurs as a way of getting back to London. He'll play enough to keep his England place for the World Cup. I wonder what City's plan is for him with only 12 months left. I would more than happily see him return to Anfield.
He is 26 and approaching the peak of his career. He is way too ambitious to spend his best years with Spurs. Look at the way he and his agent have moved forward with his career from QPR to us to City. He is only going to move to a club which guarantees him trophies. If the pandemic had not happened, I wouldn't be surprised if his agent was trying to get him a move to Real.
