thats about £30m in sales so far, with Nat and Shaq likely to go in the next week or so.
I just want to see a gini replacement and a creative player that can either help us break lines of busses with cute passing or be an extreme baller. I want our midfield to do less running around to stop them from being injured. I was hoping we could sell Nabi and Shaq too. Really need to get some players in quickly before the season starts.

"Juventus have rejected an £86m bid from Liverpool for Italy winger Federico Chiesa. The 23-year-old joined Juventus on an initial two-year loan in October 2020 before a potential permanent move from Fiorentina.(Repubblica)"

That link leads me to Pearce saying we have too many centre backs.

Oh and Leverkusen and West Ham now interested in Nat
Sheffield Utd continue to be interested in Ben Davies.

Yeah, we're at 18 foreing players at the moment, which include Karius, Origi, Minamino and Shaqiri.

We need to shift at least 3 of those to sign a couple of new foreign players.

Which I suppose also explains our interest in somebody like Bowen.

Turns out we can't sign/register any foreign nationals until we offload the likes of Shaq and Origi

Yep - we have a full squad of 25 players

We’re not buying anyone else over the age of 21 unless we, at least, arrange a 1 year loan for the likes of Minamino, Shaqiri, Origi, Davies or Phillips.

So if we want a new striker and midfielder - someone’s needing moved on.

Havent Karius, Shaqiri and Origi been told that they can leave?
Shaqiri seem to be the closest out the door.
Something tells me Minamino will stay unless Soton come in with a good permanent offer.

A 2ft tap in from the ox in that mainz game would have saved Edwards time and money looking for a back up to Bobby. Them saps at the echo would have loved it

Liverpool braced for West Ham bid as Jurgen Klopp faces tricky transfer decision
West Ham could try to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on loan from Liverpool this summer.

By TONY BANKS

Hammers manager David Moyes is considering a possible loan bid for the former Arsenal midfielder, who has spent time up front for the Reds this pre-season in Roberto Firmino's absence.
West Ham’s prime target to replace Jesse Lingard, who they now expect to stay at Manchester United despite a successful loan spell at the London Stadium last season, is West Brom's Matheus Periera.
The Hammers are still in talks with the Championship club over a potential £25million deal, with an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy a possibility.
Chelsea's Ross Barkley has been looked at - but Liverpool's Oxlade-Chamberlain, 27 is also on Moyes' radar.
The England international has had an injury hit spell at Anfield and made only 13 league appearances last year even though he was fit for much of the campaign.
If a move is made, Klopp must decide whether or not he foresees Oxlade-Chamberlain playing a greater role than last season, or whether he can afford to give up his services.
West Ham are set to complete the signing of Rangers' goalkeeper Brian Kinnear on a free transfer after the 20-year-old was released by the Scottish club - but the Hammers are still keen on a deal for West Brom's Sam Johnstone.
Arsenal also like Johnstone however as a cheaper alternative to Sheffield United's Aaron Ramsdale.
Yet West Ham are also in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over Alphonse Areola and could sign the goalkeeper, who spent last term at Fulham, on a season-long loan deal.
Areola could then compete with Lukasz Fabianski and the Londoners would have the option to sign the player permanently at the end of the season.

Even I wouldn't value Ox at £30m. If we get close to £20m, I'd take it.
I don't know why fans devalue our fringe players so much,

It's always "I'd be over the moon if we got 10m for Origi Shaqiri and Keita"

No, 15-20m is what championship players go for....We should be demanding more.

If Leeds and West Ham value Phillips and Rice at 50-60m then Ox is easy 30m.

In August he becomes 28, he is plagued with injury and is on something like £120k per week. So which club would be daft enough to pay £30m?

We got rid of Sakho and Benteke for what we bought them for when no one expected us to..think we even made a bit of profit on Sakho & FFS we got 23m for a championship calibre striker who didn't even play a game for us, I'm sure Edwards can work his shiny little magic.
