Transfer Rumours 21/22

I don't disagree that Matip reads the game better, but he's truly an injury prone player so I'd go with his sale if we get an offer. Gomez reads the game quite well IMO (at least as well as Nat Baresi) and has only just turned 24. You don't sell international level CBS just coming in to their prime after spending 7/8 years developing them. Young CBs get injured, it's common as all hell. If he's still having issues at 27 then you sell him.

You do know that he as had two Ankle surgery's already and the latest is a Petella injury problems
It does not bode well for us (Liverpool) or Gomez. I can see him missing plenty more games

You recommended Serge Aurier.

Hmmmmm, do I smell a little inconsistency here? You don’t seem so interested in Minaminos injury history including two knee ligament issues Doner Van, so are you saying we should back the 27yr old who has shown fuck all promise, and not the 24yr old full international, U21 captain, fucking baller, who has shown loads because ankles are more troublesome than knees? Pure fucking bollocks as normal

I think he would be an upgrade, attacking-wise. The one concern is injuries - he seems to be at Keita level of injury-proneness.
With Klopp's style of play, I can only see his injury spells getting worse.

Its truly depressing and just a bad bad day for football, when FFP is so broken that City can flout the rules so brazenly. And here we are wondering whether we can afford a packet of crisps. I just can't see any positive end to it, unless we are ultimately bought by some other oil magnate willing to splash it all on a football team.

Games done.

Sure, there will be upsets on occasion, but ultimately the games done.

If we buy wisely in the positions and players identified by Klopp and transfer committee then we can compete with much less than that, we got Klopp. Just needs to be backed in a sensible manner and at the right time.

Just makes it all the sweeter when Klopp leads us to #20 on a shoestring (relatively speaking) budget.

Even then that's not really a completely positive end, because we'd be like PSG and City.
