Transfer Rumours 21/22

Anyone thinking Leicester could struggle this year? No signings so far, Brendan supposedly wants half a new team of signings. Last years signings stunk the place out Boubacare, Saka, Vestergard. Looking to sell Schmeichel, Forfana linked with Chelsea, Tielemens in his last year of his deal. Brenda about to get fired again?

Unfortunately I think they're coming to the end of a cycle. Did well to get where they did but I don't see this ending well for Rodgers.

No signings, ageing or end of contract squad and owner is the son of the guy with the desire and vision.

If I were Brendan I'd be looking for a way out. He seems to be a pragmatic chap in these sort of situations

First big sacking he'll be getting his name out pronto

McNeil and Tarkowski are decent and will improve the blueslime up to a point, but they still need so much more. Unless Keane can get back to being the player he was when he played with the two of them at Burnley, Tarkowski will lack a reliable CB partner (Holgate is proper sh!te as well as being a lying toerag). Coleman's not the player he was, their midfield's full of dross and I expect Calvert-Lewin to sink back into the mediocrity from which Ancelotti temporarily rescued him. Lampard was right to warn that they face another struggle this season IMO.

Richarlison was their top scorer with 10 league goals. Gray and DCL were joint 2nd with 5 each while Gordon is 3rd with 4th. McNeil's delivery stats are encouraging but his goal scoring one, not so. A front trio of McNeil, DCL and Gordon might not be enough to get them the goals to win games.

They seem to be bringing back Barkley too.

You’re going to be well pissed off when he signs a 4 year extension.

If we were selling and replacing, we would, even should, have done it a month ago.

Maybe we would have if Tchouameni had signed m.

Balls to doing it now unless we really have someone cracking lined up.

Can’t see it happening.
I can't affect what the club does, I'm not happy with Naby, and when he does get injured, I'll curse him but thats about it.

I wonder if Lucas Paquetá s on the radar who can play CM/AM/SS and RW should Bobby go? Apparently £35m could get him

I always thought Dwight McNeill looked decent and somewhat out of place in Dyches side. He has a fair amount of ability but maybe not the aggression or attitude that was needed, might even be comparable to our own Curtis Jones.

Although I rated Jordan Ibe, so he might just be shite

He’s definitely a Premier league player, but I’d say right now he belongs in a side with mid-table aspirations at best.

Lampard: Everton face another relegation battle.

Also Lampard: Buys players who failed the last relegation battle they had.

Don’t worry - Bluebell will be arguing that we should be in for them ‘cause they’ll be on the cheap with relegation clauses in about 11 months time.

Yeah there was some talk about us signing him once. Think he's pretty good as a midfielder. But doesn't have goals in him. Puts in effort defending though, and has some good dribbling & crosses. An old school winger.

He will join the likes of Kanchelskis, Pienaar, Walcott, Lennon etc who won jack shit at Everton.

Gabby Aglabanlawhore claiming Ronaldo would join LFC if he could. I've listened to him a few times, and wondered if he rides around with a Blue Badge

As much chance as finding intelligent life on Mars. Though it would be great if it was true. He is very Steven Gerrardesk in the way he plays

Jurgen Klopp is ‘waiting’ for the chance to sign Real Madrid’s Federico Valverde and according to Spanish newspaper Nacional (via football365), the German is 'obsessed' the midfielder.
Valverde has made 148 appearances since making his debut in 2017, but due to the immense amount of talent at the club, the 24 year-old has never been a guaranteed starter in Madrid.
The recent signing of Aurelin Tchouameni has put even more doubt onto Valverde’s future playing time and the Reds could be set to capitalise on this.
