Transfer Rumours 21/22

Barcelona managed to get all their other youngsters signed up after rumoured exits. I'll be amazed if they don't also tie Gavi deal done.

He shits all over Jones.

No he does not, Curtis should get more playing time, he is one of the best young midfielders around, and during the lockdown season he was our only effective midfielder when he played, proper baller - should have been bought on against Real Madrid.

He has a big frame for an 18 year old. He's going to be an absolute unit once he fills out.

You can see why we think he's more ready than Bradley for instance. Very often the issue with young players is that they're simply not physically ready to handle first team action till they're into their 20s.

But do we want a “big unit” at FB.

Robbo certainly isn’t and he’s more “spikey” than Trent, despite Trent being bigger.

Bradley might be more in the Robbo mold.

The Ox would be better off going to Villa. Going to the Mancs from LFC would be risky anyway and, if things didn't work out, life could get unpleasant for him.

Speaking personally I wouldn't really have an issue with Chamberlain joining United. I think if a player is frozen out of the team then they have a right to go wherever the want for football.

I understand your point, though. I cannot imagine their fans would be too keen on him, and many of ours would be less forgiving than my thoughts.

Quite agree, Squiggs. He's got years of his career left, potentially his best ones even, and if that's where he decided to spend them it wouldn't bother me either, esp.given that things clearly aren't going to get any better for him at LFC. It's purely the potential for their fans to turn on him that I was wondering about, especially as he'd be joining a wider rebuild which (hopefully) may be long and difficult.
