Transfer Rumours 21/22

Can someone explain to me why the internet is littered with such boring utter shite articles on our team ? - yes I get the clickbait bollox and the fact that it knows I am interested in LFC news. But why the fuck does the Echo keep going on and on about Mbappe transfer ? - it's really embarrassing now to keep talking about a player who has fuck all to do with our team or the city of Liverpool. I only want to know about him if he has signed for us, could not give a fuck about him not signing his extension. Then there are those articles about one player when in fact it's talking about some other shite player. I don't fall the click - but it is annoying the shit out of me.

Sounds like he’s one of our prime targets next year - otherwise why would Henderson be watching his games for Dortmund? Perhaps also explains the lack of midfield investment this summer. There will be serious competition for his signature for sure, but hopefully Hendo and others will convince him that LFC is the right club for him.

Yeah, I was thinking about this the other day. It's got to be either him or someone like Declan Rice (though he seems Man Utd bound) perhaps.

We need more homegrown players.
Especially because it's the only reason we still have Ox.

Imagine having homegrown players who could actually contribute

I was very impressed with some of his touches the other night, as well as his energy.

We should be all over him whenever his contract is getting close to an end at Dortmund.

He'll cost Monopoly money, but he's a player I'd be prepared to consider that kind of price for. If he keeps on the way he's going, he'll be a real monster.

Nah, the extra value is not worth it, unless he proves he can change a game by himself. Also if he becomes that good we will converse with intention to show up and pretend with empty pockets.

Nah we've missed the chance with him with these skinflints in charge unless we make some huge sales

Yeah, I feel we've missed the boat with Bellingham unless there's a reasonable enough release clause. His progress at Dortmund has been lightning quick and they'll be able to set their price beyond our reach, which is a shame because he seems close to the Liverpool lads and with a name like Jude you would think it's meant to be.

Really we needed to sign Bellingham from Birmingham and either play him or secure him a decent loan move.

Realistically we just have to hope Jones and Elliott can kick on this year in a similar style to what Beliingham has done for Dortmund. They'll be given opportunities to progress.

Its one of those transfers that I think the player would have moved to Dortmund regardless given the promised playing time etc.
He should definitely be on our radar next summer if he wants to leave. Might see him want to stay in Germany for at least two more season though.

Think its more between Bellingham or Gravenberch.

Yeah, I have not seen Gravenberch all that much, but he seems to be the more attacking of the two. Both look like highly impressive modern midfielders and it would be lovely to see either one at LFC. United can have Declan Rice.

"Liverpool are plotting a £30m move for Real Madrid playmaker Marco Asensio in January as Jurgen Klopp looks to strengthen his squad for a title challenge."
From the Daily Star apparently.

Seems like a serious talent - but he’s born in Munich, so seems like only a matter of time before he ends up at Bayern.

Yes... hopefully that time is when he’s 33 having spent well over a decade at Liverpool winning everything in the game.

Seems like a really stylish prospect. The pace and ability to beat a man is great, but what really stands out is his how naturally and effortlessly he seems to strike the ball. Reminds me a bit of a young Sturridge.

That said, watching his clips, you do have to say that he's playing in a really poor league. The PL might be a steep step up at this moment, and as I'd said elsewhere, we don't seem to buy in this 18-21 age bracket anymore.

If the fees is reasonable though (like 15 million), we should definitely be interested. He'd certainly get game time ahead of Origi and Minamino.

Apparently, he was on Bayern's books at the age of 10, but left because of a dispute over lack of discipline . Perhaps he won't have interest in returning to a club which chucked him out at such a young age.

Yeah you can see why there's so much interest. And as you say ... can't see him going anywhere but BM unless Barca come in with a huge wage offer.

He looks good. Perhaps we can give them Minamino back for a discount...

If we do buy him in Jan, he'd be better off staying there till the end of the season.

Leeds could face competition from Real Madrid for Fulham youngster Fabio Carvalho next summer according to a report from the Daily Mail.
The Daily Mail claims that Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa wants to bring the talented 19-year-old play-maker to Elland Road on a free transfer next summer.
Leeds may well have their work cut-out, however.

Real Madrid are allegedly eyeing a summer swoop for Carvalho.
Leeds face huge battle ahead for Fabio Carvalho signature

The teenager really is an incredibly gifted player. He has dazzled with his precocity over the past year or so.
And the Daily Mail claims that Real Madrid want to sign him on a free next summer with new contract talks with Fulham hitting the buffers.

Bielsa will be desperate to win the race for Carvalho’s signature. He really does have something special about him.
The teenager has made 11 senior appearances for the west London outfit, scoring four goals in the process.
Carvalho has racked up 33 goals and 19 assists in 82 games for Fulham’s youth teams (Transfermarkt).
Football League World describe him as an incredible talent.
His potential availability on a free transfer next summer means that one club will end up with any absolutely incredible bargain.
Whether that will be Leeds or Real Madrid, however, remains to be seen.

Yeah, Sturridge was my first thought too. You could also make a comparison with Greenwood in how he seems to strike the ball equally well from both sides.

Oh, that’s good to know - maybe he won’t go to Bayern after all, or at least not so soon.

He looks quality. Unless there are contract issues, close to zero chance of anyone signing him for 30 million euros or less.

I see no reason to anticipate us ever signing a real, ready-made difference-maker again under FSG's rule, without having to first sell a big name to do so...

If we're really going after Bellingham, it means that Salah is on his bike, I fear.

Well, how about Thiago?
