Torres gone. Scum gone to more scum

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Don't know if it's been posted already

bensmith_Times Ben Smith
To answer a few questions: I understand Fernando Torres remains as determined as ever to leave #lfc after talks at Melwood today

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

bet we end up selling torres while spurs sign llorente or aguero. we'll fail to agree a fee for young ( thank god! ).

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

My Mum says "they're all cunts". She's 85 and supported Liverpool for as long as she can remember. But she hates the way people like torres treat her two sons, her four grandsons, her one grandaugher , her one great grandaughter and her one great grandson. She said she's fucking sick of the whole lot of the overpaid bastards

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

1) we sell him with no replacement - it's a big problem
2) we don't sell him and he has his head up his arse for the remainder of the season - it's a big problem

So either of the two scenarios above have an issue, the advantage with number 2 is that we fuck him and Chelsea around for a few months at least and in the summer we stand more chance of an auction, and he will have to scuttle around the city during that time which could be very uncomfortable for him.

I have no problem with £45m and Anelka bit, as at least a short term fix, and it's up to Chelsea to persuade Nic to come here or no deal. I don't see what the issues are that people have with Anelka, the partnership with Drogba is very difficult. I would rather have Anelka and Suarez than Torres and no one worth talking of like we have had for the past two years.

I like it.

But to appease both group of people, is it possible to add another button for "multi quote". So quote button functions as it is, and the multi quote functions as the old quote function.

on another point....the posting on this site has become very frenetic lately, that i'm not able to follow much. I read bits and pieces here and there.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Anelka is older, slower, less-motivated and will be on higher wages than his last stint, please no.

I understand the need to have another striker in till season end if we're depleted of he whos name can't be spoken of, but no point being lumbered with Anelka, and especially not Sturridge.

It should be cash or a big fat F U.

any deal we make for any player should be for the long term not because we are panicking over not having an out and ou striker for the rest of the season.

If we lose Torres in this window though we absolutely need a replacement.
You can't throw Suarez in at the deep end and we don't have anyone else who can realistically cover the position adequately.

and so who is our strike force then ? A Premier League virgin and fucking N'gog?

Anelka still has something to offer , even if it's for four months, He is better than anything else we have to play with Suarez by a country mile. Stop worrying about wages that's not our problem

Basically, I think we're better off keeping Torres until Summer if we haven't got a long-term option lined up to bring in at the same time. Chelsea will value Anelka highly as part of any swap deal anyhow I'm sure, does anyone really think they'll go "instead of giving you £50m, we'll give you £45m and Anelka?"

I would only take the £50m too if they would give us a) Anelka on loan till season end (not stuck with 'im long term), b) we genuinely have another striker lined up who we can realistically nab in the next 22 hours.

That depends on how much they want Torres, and by your rather withering criticism of Anelka Vikas, you can't think that he is worth much more than £5m anyway.

On the second point, yes a loan would do, and it saves us scrabbling around trying to find a replacement at the last minute, if we have not got anyone lined up. If we keep Torres until the summer he is going to be much less motivated than you suggest Anelka might be.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Torres will be motivates to play well over the next four months, his motivation might not be anything to do with LFC and all about himself, but he will know he needs to keep himself in the shop window and play well and keep fit for clubs to want to come in and activate the buy out clause in august

fair point, although he could play well for 3 weeks in april/may :-\

really bugs me that we've had Torres play constantly through every summer and now his first proper summer rest could be as a chelsea player

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

This thread has now gone nearly an hour without a news update or even some internet random's twittering. What's going on? This is unacceptable. Someone post something so I can sustain my growing enmity at the devious little shit.

It's going to happen sooner or later, so just accept it.

These are some of the knock on effects of our last owners, but hopefully this'll draw a big line under the whole thing. Our team after this summer will be a new team, and bear no resemblance to the old. Hopefully it'll have some aspiring talent motivated to move upwards with the team, and not a bunch of cunts wondering why it's not all happening for them, and dross we only purchased because we couldn't afford transfer fees.

Its the fucked over feeling though, Owen left us really late and gave us no time to replace. I didn't expect it from Torres and I still don't expect it to happen until the summer.

Thats the last time I was excited at our striking options as well, apart from the 10mins after I read Suarez had signed on friday. In 2004 we had Baros as top scorer in the Euros, Cisse came as top scorer in ligue 1 and we had Owen, that fell apart rapidly just like the Suarez Torres dream.

>🙁

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I've got bigger problems in my life than worrying about this mercenary cunt. In saying that, seeing the photoshopped image of Torres in the blue of Chelsea a few pages back, that hurt.

I just think we will get someone unexpected in with the Torres money before the window slams shut.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Actually Suarez is a bit of a short arse, so we will deffo need a taller striker coming in today who can lead the line, should Torres go.

Llorente, Benzema, someone over 6 foot.
