insua would be better off not going forwards and defending because he offers fuck all when he goes fowards, absolutely fuck all. he has got to be the worst crosser I've ever seen for someone so attack minded.

You cannot be serious?

You are doing an awesome imitation of a massive cunt here.

I'm not a big of Insua, and his crosses, I agree, aren't great. He's twenty and I'm sure the coaches are working on it. The best thing about Insua is that he's always eager to overlap. Thus, giving the left winger more options.

And you were saying "Mate, don't worryabout practicing your cross, forget about helping out Riera in attack, just stay back.."

One of the best left backs in the world, Gael Clichy to start with, was not a great defender as well as an awful crosser. He's black and fast though, so you'd like him I suppose..

Is there really much point in an overlapping fullback who can't cross?

Given how we're defending at the moment, I'd rather he kept it simple and rarely strayed over the half way line.

Are you serious?

It's obviously a huge positive if you are a good crosser, but you can contribute to the play without pinging in cross after cross.

???

Have you ever played football?

Should Wenger have told young Gael to stay back and keep it simple?

Should he fuck.

Well I don't think he can pass that well either, TBH.

And we as a team are giving away the ball for fun at the moment, so it's only right to question the need to push up two fullbacks for every attack.

He's no Arbeloa with his passing, but he's generally pretty accurate.

It should be one push up and one tuck in.

When Insua pushes up, Johnson should tuck in and the reverse.

Come on. Having played football yourself doesn't matter. Otherwise Jose Mourinho would clean my boots.

He's generally pretty good at spotting a pass and playing it with pace down the line, but like much of his play, it's very inconsistent.

He looked a better player last year.

I know, was just to make the post more dramatic.

Arbeloa always pushed up and overlapped, even though he's a worse cross than Insua.

Consistency comes with age too though Squiggles.

The defence as a whole looked much much better last year.

At this stage, he should be a sub to Aurelio, but unfortunately, the brazilian is playing worse than he is.. So what do we do?

There's of course, /me .. But I don't think we're that desperate yet.

Of course it does but it doesn't change the fact he can play better than we're currently seeing.

He's one of many individuals who simply has to step up, because put simply, there's not much of an alternative.

(I could be talking about Aurelio, too)
