I thought Rafa was a lot of things, but I'm not sure how calling him a fucking tossed highlights any of that.

Despite his many flaws he did get this club to a level no manager since Kenny had managed. That deserves respect.

Yea 'cos 7th place was a typical Benitez campaign. Lets see Hodgson get 86 points next season or a a couple Champions League finals or even stand up to Ferguson. Swapping Benitez for Hodgson is akin to selling Torres and getting Bobby Zamora, which isn't beyond the realms of possibility.

There is plenty of evidence to suggest that he would have done better than Woy, yes.
The amount of trophies he's won, for one.
The fact that he's a better manager, for another.

Well put. It amazes me to read some posters putting Roy down because his best finish in the Premier League is 7th the season before last and a lowly 12th last season whilst reaching the Europa Final having played over sixty games. With Fulham and their small, limited squad.

For the record KK, I think you'll find I was sticking up for Rafa, I'm not blind to his achievements, but to deny he was clearly hard to get along with & pissed players off is a myopic as saying he was a shut manager cos he had a shit last season.
