The club statement is commendable and it's got balls.

The problem now is that every cunt is going to abuse this ruling, you'll get players pulling the racist card left right and centre and meanwhile the FA have now set a precedent which I doubt will be upheld for EBJT, or anyone else.

This seems to all stem from Rafa's 'rant' which was the first public questioning of the FA's bias in favour of United and Fergie, it's been a long road in which they've proven that he still has an unnerving power and influence over the English game and it's points of leadership.

As for Luis, well having a black father and having played alongside multi cultural players for years without any hint of this before, doesn't seem to hold any sway as far as the FA go, no further damning evidence has been brought forward during the enquiry and it's been magnificently timed (as only the FA could, remember Ferdinand returning from his ban against us?), to hit before the busiest and one of the most crucial period's of the season. If Luis' downfall in this is that he isn't quite as black as Evra, and ergo, must be the guilty party, then I think the FA need only look in the mirror to find the racists. As for Luis keeping Schtum on the pitch, what like Rooney? It's part of his game, his nature and his winning mentality, if you take that from him you may aswell give him a one way pass to Barcelona right now.

He's ours and he deserves the benefit of the doubt, given who the cunts are calling the shots, he deserves all the backing he gets.

Well said Mark.

(2) In the event of any breach of Rule E 3(1) including a reference to any one or more

For a first offence, a sanction that is double that which the Regulatory Commission

I trust Kenny Dalglish.

Fair enough JJ most likely I am likely to back up Anita in her posts, but also because I agree with what she has posted.
Like I said kinda sad really.

Point? I don't know where you're coming from with your posts in this thread Gene.

Let's see what happens with this bit:

We would also like to know when the FA intend to charge Patrice Evra with making abusive remarks to an opponent after he admitted himself in his evidence to insulting Luis Suarez in Spanish in the most objectionable of terms. Luis, to his credit, actually told the FA he had not heard the insult.

Thanks Livvy... I can see why LFC wants Evra to be charged. If the FA followed these guidelines, they have no choice.

One thing i'm wondering ...if he is found guilty , could the police request the FA evidence with a view to charging him legally ? or would that require someone to lodge a complaint with them ?

From the start of this season there has been a witch hunt against Suarez.

First the "Suarez dives and cheats" comment ended up in him getting absolutely nothing from the referees. Now this.....we need to bring the hammer real hard on this and trigger an investigation on the FA. I'm actually going to stop following football till that happens.

Are you also worried that our players will start falsely accusing other people of racism, or is it just people from other clubs? If it's the former that makes sense, if it's the latter, then it doesn't and I shall pursue you on the issue.

Now pick up that sword!

Presumably the next time Evra, a notoriously irascible player, takes part in a match against LFC, an LFC player can get in a squabble with him, suddenly look outraged and later claim he said something racially abusive. The cameras and microphones would pick up nothing, but Evra would still be charged and fined. That's the madness the FA has encouraged. It's a stunningly incoherent verdict. Procedurally it's Alice in Wonderland.

So it's ok for me to assume that EVERYONE will do it, but not ok to just assume that players of other clubs will do it? If the constant cheating and abuse of the rules from United is anything to go by, then I've got every reason to suspect the latter. Soz, if that's just me being paranoid though and creating conspiracy theories.

I'd like to think we've got a bit more about us in that respect. Who'd do it? Johnson? Suarez? Charlie Adam?! At the high end of the game there's a few cunts I could see doing it, one of them has seemingly just done it, again. If it's such a high profile offence, like anything in the game with a severe punishment, another player is bound to jump on it at some point.

Can Suarez say he was upset about something??

I love how our defence was 'He's got a black friend!'.

It's often how racists defend themselves afterwards.

I don't know Gerry, maybe it's because we all have different lines as to what we think it acceptable when it comes to racism.

Ladyred, I'm way behind in poster of the year votes so while I'm dishing out insults, I have to say that even in the past your views on what constitutes racism have struck me as rather parochial.

Like I said, it's something we all have different lines on.
