Sorry Jules, I think he'll have a sour taste in his mouth now and his career in England can never be the same. My Spanish friends think this whole thing is bizarre, I reckon a few Spanish clubs will be reaching out to Suarez now on that same basis. Sadly, the club for all its defense of Suarez will also be thinking of the reputation and marketing impact of this whole thing unless he's cleared and vindicated.
Logic tells me he's going to be playing for someone else next year.

I understand the reasoning but I think the man will want to tough it out, and I think Kenny will too. If I'm right about that, your forecast would mean FSG forcing a sale against the player's and the manager's wishes. I don't think they'd take that step.
I also think Suarez WILL be vindicated if we go to law over this in the event of an appeal failing, which I think is vital.

I agree, I don't think the club would sell him against his wishes, I just think neither the club nor player will think it's a bad idea and when that happens and a bid comes in, it's usually bye bye.
On the legal issue, I thought football associations, UEFA, FIFA etc. took a poor view of clubs and players going to civil courts to contest decisions on disciplinary matters. Isn't that what's happening with the Swiss kerfuffle right now?
