Come on. We've had 2 signings but will have 7 departures not including Melo. You are happy to close the window now even if it means being with out a CDM. I told you going into last season we'd struggle to get top 4 if we didn't get 2MFs. This season we definitely need 1CDM, and a CB at minimum. I'll throw names out there, people can take heed or not...
You keep accusing me of going ballistic when the club doesn't make the signings I recommend, but that's not the case, I get pissed off when they ignore the obvious glaring holes in the squad. So last season it was the MF, and this season if they get 3 additions in MF as a total they've done the minimum (with so many departures, it should have been 4 MFs in total). However, there is no excuse the frailties of our defence, Qunny is a good CB but we need a more experienced person too.

Biggest bollox ever, and I actually hope its really not true, not that I would mind him being in our team, but I have a couple of reasons (in this order):

1) At the end of the day - he is just a kid, and will be told to play in one of the most demanding roles in our team. Add the fact that he has to play for Klopp, - Klopp will use him until the boy cannot walk - so instead of having a potential career that can last another 10 years, he may only get 5 max. Believe me - he will be used like a dog by FSG/Klopp.

2) If it is us that are bidding for him for real, then you all know that the £80M+ bid for just him, means we ain't getting any defender. This seasons crisis is a midfield one, next season it will be a midfield plus defence crisis, and add to that if we let Salah go, then there might be a striker crisis up front as well. If we went for Lavia for 50M there is a chance we could also get a defender I would hope.
