We shouldnt sign Kimmich either. 300k a week wages, big fee and 29 years old. Fuck that.
The club however, does.but I wouldn't say no to
Yeah, but isnt that the point now? Seeing as we are in a rebuild.
You want a 22 year old to DM you? Try GrinderI really hope we dont get this guy Kimmich. Just want a 22/24 year old DM
This is our midfield if all the OAPs leave and we sign Lavia:
MacAllister - 24
Szoboszlai - 22
Jones - 22
Elliot - 20
Lavia - 19
Bajcetic - 18
That is a very young and raw midfield.
The fact that we've also got massive warning signs blinking over our defence as well... well, yeah, there is a lot than can go wrong this season.
Depends if kimmich is as injury prone
I agree, but signing no one and slipping further away form the pack isn't the way eitherSigning a 29 year old on high wages isnt the way forward.
This is the problem, remaining competitive but rebuilding. Exactly why there should have been a signing or two in midfield last season and why there should be a CB signing now.
Man U getting Amrabat for £22 mill....lol

[article]As far as I know it’s the opposite - Kimmich was one of the trusted lieutenants of Nagelsmann and was extremely upset by his firing. He also damaged his standing in the club by refusing to get vaccinated against COVID resulting in having to miss games when the team really needed him. Not sure how his relationship with Tuchel is progressing, but I suspect there is not a lot of trust between the two.
thats well harsh. He's 19 and can buy his own drinks.
Yep. Frankly I don’t understand the paranoia with oap experience over youth. I’d take the latter any day. Sure there will be occasions when experience would have helped and maybe saved a goal or seen out a game but certainly speed, stamina and skill levels of a younger player would be preferable in many more situations and overall have a more positive contribution. Can’t be worse than last year, can it? Pretty much every midfielder with a breath in them overran ours at will. Until we brought in a sprog in Bajčetić. In fact I see improvements if only in the ability to actually move.
Wait until the transfer window closes before making a judgment ?Man U getting Amrabat for £22 mill....lol

I kinda want an experienced DM and LaviaWait until the transfer window closes before making a judgment ?
If we end up with Mac, Szobo, Lavia and a good CB I’d take that over what United have done any and every day of the week.
Not going to happen (unless we keep Fabs). So pick one!I kinda want an experienced DM and Lavia

Our dm search reminds me of how I used to make good money at 18 as a violist for weddings and events.
It wasn't that I was that good, I was just good enough. Everyone I played with was better than me, and they had a hard time filling their quartet, and the viola part was easily the most boring and unflashy. It needed to be in there for the second and third beat of a waltz. And there I was, raking in the dough and sneaking drinks.
Lavia is probably more deserving than I was. He's wholly unremarkable, as is everyone else that has been brought up.
