But at the same time it's not worth throwing hissy fits over as there's still the best part of 5 weeks left to bring players in & I think we're right to let go of all the players we have simply because they weren't good enough.
Klopp's already said a "few things will definitely happen" between now and then so let's see.

I think are failing to realize that the market has significantly increased this year. Last year, clubs were still recovering financially from Covid. All the prices are higher, except those with clauses.
I think £50m is going to be the minimum for any quality under 25, who get paid less. . The club has plenty of cash flow with the salary savings on old players, Anfield Road stand, and coming Hendo/Fabinho sales, even without Champion’s League.
I do not think we will go crazy, but another £80-100 is possible.

If we sign a prem league player 2-3 weeks ain’t bad.
If not, yeh it’ll be Gary szob and Trent with Gomez at RB. Which may work given that we will effectively have five defenders on the pitch. One of whom can ping the ball pretty much where he likes.
Mind you, they’ll cut through us like a hot knife through butter.
