It always matters.

Agreed. It honestly amazes me how some people place such little value on the ability to express themselves through words. Being able to articulate yourself is of utmost importance if

a) You want people to understand what you're saying
b) You wish to be taken seriously and
c) You don't want to come across like an illiterate fool.

I totally appreciate that people have different levels of English, but given that there is a tool provided to avoid such basic spelling errors I think it's incredibly lazy to ignore it, particularly when persistent use of it may lead to such errors being eradicated in the future.

a) You want people to understand what you're saying - doesn't bother me
b) You wish to be taken seriously - doesn't bother me
c) You don't want to come across like an illiterate fool. - doesn't bother me

truth is I pretty much post for me, this place helps me vent otherwise I would probably beat up strangers in the street.
At work I check grammar and spelling but that's different I'm getting paid.

This tangent is more interesting than the thread topic.

Spelling mistakes and incorrect grammar are not the issue for me. They happen.
What I don't get is why some people see it as 'more effort' to get it right. Doesn't that suggest there is a problem?

If English is your second language, fine. If it's the only fucking language you can speak, then it's just not acceptable to 'not care'.

Electronic communication has played a big part in this. People deem it acceptable to use text speak, leave out punctuation and misspell words because "It's only an email/text/forum". Next thing you know, it becomes an effort to get things right rather than being a natural part of writing/typing.

I think what bothers me is that you don't care enough to want to get it right. It's your native language. Wouldn't you prefer NOT to have to rely on spellchecks to use it properly?

It doesn't bother me a huge amount when other people make spelling and grammar errors but it really irritates me when I find that I have made a mistake.
I think Rafa must have given glock food poisoning. How else can we explain this uncontrollable amount of shit?

20 million sacking Rafa
Minimum 10 million getting a new one by way of compensation
Then we pay the new manager
Is Rafa worth potentially 40 million cost because of the teams lack of form?
Just for the sake of being an arse, it's not written in stone that we have to pay Rafa the full amount left on his contract.

If he insists on being paid the full amount we can insist that he stays available to work for the club for the remainder of the contract, since if he wants the full terms honoured we can insist on the same. That's where the negotiation starts.

Why the fuck has no one else jumped on the idiocy of that Slaven Bilic becomes our manager? Overlooking the fact that he's a ex-blue, what about the fact that he's.....well shite!
