Just throwing names around so that kids here can have options.

Nicol is Liverpool through and through. And he's done a very very good job at New England. He hasn't delivered the title but i think he's a decent option.

[/quote]

Graham Souness and Roy Evans were 'Liverpool through and through'. So what?

He hasn't delivered the title

What makes you think he'll stand a chance in the most competitive league in the World then?

Jesus fucking Christ.

If people had put most of these names forward when we sacked Houllier they'd be laughed off the forum, so 5 years later in an arguably even more competitive climate, why the fuck are Bilic and Nicol credible options? Have either done anything Benitez has?

The arguments for getting rid of Benitez in this thread, although I don't agree with them, are at least worth reading.

However any kind of vague credibility has surely been lost forever with some of these names of 'possible replacements'!

Stevie Niciol, who hasn't even won the league in the US

Gary Mac, who has been a failure managing lower division clubs

Christoph Daum, a cheating cokehead who is a bit of a laughing stock in his own country and manages in Turkey, where he still doesn't win much

Dick Advocaat, who didn't even do a particularly great job in the laughably weak Scottish League

Dan Petrescu, where the fuck did that come from?

Yeah but he doesn't have the spending power as some of the other clubs in that league.

So what you are essentially saying is that he is a bit like Rafa Benitez but in a really really crappy league?

Glock is doing such a bad job of this that I've concluded he's actually trying to show how difficult it will be to replace Rafa. He knows that if he just defended Rafa we'd all be pursuaded to do the opposite.

Hahaha.
It all makes sense now. Maybe in the last dinner, Rafa and Glocky came up with this devious plan to rally support before the Manc game.

A great performance against United. The players really played for the fans and gave everything. Benitez got his tactics right and we got a deserved win.

It changes nothing though. Our season is almost over and it's still only October. We're out of the league and hanging onto the CL by a thread. We beat United and we now sit in the lofty position of 5th but the two teams below us have games in hand and we will be 7th if they win those games.

Dear Ross,

Please kindly make this thread a sticky as you might not want others to start another Rafael Out thread in future. Appreciate if you can do that.

I have valid reasons and all have been posted above in my first post in this thread. Its not all about empty Rafael out talk but all with valid reasons.

Rafael is NOT the man for us. Not the man to bring the title to us. He can walk alone now.

Thank you.

Regards,

Gaston Glock.

Quick point:

Gerrard, injured, rushed back by Rafael, injures himself worse than before, out for longer than necessary

Johnson, injured, rushed back by Rafael, injures himself worse than before, out for longer than necessary

Torres, injured, rushed back by Rafael, playing fine but getting take off. Rafael's excuse "he was training in pain". The he shouldn't have played. He could have made it worse.

Rafael is prepared to sacrifice the players health to save himself.

So if a player is cleared fit and plays after an injury, Rafa's gamble constitutes a selfish act, but if he is cleared fit and is taken off to preserve him for a future game because he isn't 100%, it's also selfish?

Also, how unprecedented. Next he'll be saying something disgusting like “Take that bandage off. And what do you mean about YOUR knee? It’s Liverpool’s knee!â€

Where does it end?

If he can't train fully, then he's not fully fit to play. If he's not fully fit, and is carrying an injury, then he shouldn't be playing. He clearly wasn't fit and was well off the pace of the game. His goal doesn't change that as it didn't prove his fitness, just his brilliance.

Benitez sees the CL as more important than the league title he has already stopped us from winning the league. He took Torres off to have him for the CL knowing that a loss to Lyon will surely be the last nail in his coffin. He wants Torres to save his job against Lyon.

Well done Rafael!!

Rafa is not trying to save his job, he made a simple decision on which game is more important...

Rafa is not worried about his job, because he knows he is safe, he also knows that if he was fired or decided to walk, he can get a job easily regardless....

Rafa decided that because Torres was not fully fit, to preserve him for Wed's must win match....

I personally do not understand the amount of hate towards him....

He has revamped the club, and we will see the benefits of him being here in the near future, and
just because we have dropped 15pts he is being vilified????

True, we are nine points off the pace, and the chavs look strong, but this is football…

We win 4 in a row and the chavs lose 2 out of 4, and suddenly we are 3pts off the pace…

People are acting as if the other teams will not lose games????? That is what I find amazing….

The mancs lost 4 games last year, 5 each the 2 years before, and the chavs lost 5 the year before that…

Now it is not ideal that we have lost 5 already, but if we do not draw any games, then the amount
of games we lost will become a moot point…

We could still lose another 5 games and still win the title with 84pts…

All is not lost yet, and as dire as the situation seems to be, we can still come out of this smelling like roses…..

Our squad was depleted on Sat (for whatever reason), and IMO we still should have won the game ..

These things happen...

The chavs, arse, mancs citeh, villa & spurs will all lose at least 3-4 more games, maybe more, we just have to be around and in form when they do….

I understand your frustrations, but sacking Rafa is the wrong option for me, especially when things are not a bleaks as they seem...

friggin' crazy....

Glock has become like Tal and Dreamy. Only posts after losses. Sheesh, at least have some testicular fortitude and post all the time like Rage.

Yeah! I didn't post after the lost against Arsenal in the Carling Cup. I should have just to please children like you. Fucking idiot!

I have better things to do than to remind Rafael lovers like you every single time we lose games. Go lick the window now son!

so there are cocksuckers and then there are those that lack the balls to fire rafa because it will cost us 16 million.

i have a solution to those that need help growing a set. when we throw him out we can throw out much of his rubbish as well that, should offset the 16 million - sell the dodgy brazillian keeper, doseena, lucas, babel and voronin and that should cover 16 million and our squad would be none the worse.

i hear on the radio even one of our legends has come out and called for his head. the movement is growing comrades. i smell revolution in the air. the special one cometh and fake prophets, lucas levia and cocksuckers everywhere will feel the wrath of a true champion.

Oh Dear!

IF this, if that. Fucking hell.

Rafael should just have admitted he took Torres off because he wanted to save him for the Lyon game. but he can never just be honest. People like will take it as you see it and trust Rafael 100% bullshit in the press. Poor thing.

Rafael is stupid enough to think he can get us to the 1/4 finals of the CL this year and that all will be forgiven and he'll get another season.

Good post Rage. Spot on.

Ronnie Whelan, the voice of sense.

Rage posts in the style of an Islamic suicide bomber

It's all wrath, decadent Western 'cocksuckers', repressed sexuality, and frustration

You now,I've very often agreed with some of the stuff you've said.

If Rafa goes,it will not be a fucking victory.

It will not be a time to rejoice.

It will not be a good day for the club.

It might become necessary to save the club from implosion, but please stop pretending that it will be a happy time or that we should be popping the champagne.
