Out of all of them, 2 played 90 minutes, 3 started but were taken off. The other 10 were on the bench or not in the squad.

Are we loaning to the wrong teams?

[article]FC Luzern management say it's too soon to make a decision over the future of on-loan Liverpool striker Samed Yesil.

Yesil is on a season-long loan deal with Markus Babbel's Luzern and has been encouraged by the appointment of fellow German Jurgen Klopp as new Liverpool manager.

Babbel is delighted with what he's seen from Yesil this season and handed him a start for their 1-1 draw with Vaduz on Saturday.

Luzern communications director Max Fischer told tribalfootball.com that Yesil isn't yet at peak fitness, but is regarded highly by Babbel.

"After his break, Samed needs a few weeks until his physical condition will be at 100 percent. According to Markus Babbel, he then will be able to play an important role as a striker (for us)," Fischer said.

Fischer says Liverpool are keeping close tabs on Yesil's progress.

"Our staff is in regular contact with Liverpool Football club," he confirmed.

On the prospect of Yesil extending his stay into next season, Babbel isn't ruling anything out, but it will depend on the young striker's form over the coming months.

"What's going on next season with Samed depends on his performance," adds Fischer. "Currently. It's still too early for concrete statements."[/article]

Andre Wisdom was not on the bench for Norwich. They lost /1-2/ against City.

Sheyi Ojo came in as a 74th minute substitute for Wolves. His team won /0-2/ in the derby against Birmingham. Ojo sealed the victory with rhe second goal, scored in the 84th minute.

Sergi Canos stayed on the bench for Brentford. Second cosecutive win in a London derby vs. Fulham /1-0/.

Vigoroux played 90 minutes for Swindon and he was really unlucky to concede a 96th minute goal, that gave the win to Wigan/1-0/. Jordan Williams and Stewart are still injured.

Lloyd Jones still injured. His team lost 3-4 away vs. Bury.

Ryan Kent came in at the start od the second half for Coventry. At that time his team was losing 0-2. Amazingly with Ryan's help Coventry won 3-2 and are in top 4.

Harry Wilson stayed on the bench for Crew. His team won 1-0 vs. Sheffield United, but are still occupying 24th pace in the league table.

Away loss/1-3/ for Aberdeen in the derby vs. Celtic. Ward played 90 minutes. Ryan McLaughlin stayed on the bench.

Yesil is currently on the bench for Luzern. They visit St. Gallen and his team is losing 1-0 after 40 minutes

Markovic substituted after 29 minutes/ I think he's injured/ for Fenerbahce. Away win /1-0/ against Osmanlispor.

Awoniyi on the bench for FSV Frankfurt. His team scored a late equalizer vs. Paderborn /1-1/ and sit comfortably in midtable.

Luis Alberto came in the 69th minute for Deportivo and helped his team level the score against Atletico Madrid /1-1/. After last season's relegation battle, the galicians have improved and are currently 7th in the table. Alberto has 2 goals and 2 assists in 8 games

Ryan Kent in action for Coventry City against Barnsley

Coventry City maintained their promotion push with a dramatic 4-3 victory against Barnsley last night.

But they will be forced to revamp their team for Saturday’s FA Cup tie against Northampton Town with Adam Armstrong and Ryan Kent, who supplied three of the goals at the Ricoh Arena, ruled out by their parent clubs.

Kent, in fact, has returned to Liverpool – temporarily, hopes City boss Tony Mowbray – because new Anfield chief Jurgen Klopp wants to run the rule over his young assets.

“We’ll have to make changes,” said Mowbray, “but we’ve got the squad to accommodate that - at least in the forward positions.

"Ryan is going back to Liverpool for a few days prior to the international call-up so that the new coach can have a look at him.

"All the loan players are going back for a few days I think, that's fine by us; that's good. When a new manager comes in he wants to have a look at all of his players."

With the Bees having just gone 1-0 down, Sergi Canos came on as a sub in the game against Hull. it was difficult to judge his contribution, due to the abnormally large head in the visitor's dug out obstructing my vision. He was interviewed in the programme and said how much he was learning from both training and playing and that he would like to extend his loan spell to the end of the season.

Villa with a home draw vs.City. Ilori wasn't on the bench.

Andre Wisdom with solid 90 minutes at right back for Norwich. Cleen sheet and a win for his team at home against Swansea.

Sheyi Ojo started and substituted after 58 minutes. Home draw /0-0/ vs. one of the best teams in the league - Burnley.

Sergi Canos came in the 89th minute as a late substitute for his team. Brentford won a point away from home vs. Blackburn.

Vigoroux played 90 minutes for Swindon in the FA Cup. His team lost /1-3/ against Rochdale. Jordan Williams and Stewart are injured.

Lloyd Jones still injured. Blackpool lost /0-2/ their FA Cup tie against Barnet.

Ryan Kent is cup tied. Home loss for coventry /1-2/ vs. Northampton.

No Harry Wilson for Crew. His team lost 1-0 vs. minnows Eastleigh.

Win and cleen sheet for Ward. Aberdeen with a comfortable 2-0 win vs. dundee Utd. Ryan McLaughlin came as a tactical substitute in the 90th minute.

Milan with a disappointing draw /0-0/ against Atalanta at home. Balotelli is rstill injured.

Yesil came in as a substitute in the 79th minute. Luzern lost 2-0 against Sion.

Markovic injured at the moment. Fenerbahce with an important win /1-0/ vs. Konyaspor.

Awoniyi wasn't on the bench for FSV Frankfurt. Home loss /0-1/ for FSV Frankfurt vs. Padreborn.

Luis Alberto is currently nursing an injury. His team won a point /1-1/ away at Levante.

I'd like Kent and Markovic to come back in January if at all possible.

Kent does look a player.

Sergi Canos came on after a rather dull hour at Griffin Park. He promptly livened up proceedings with a crunching tackle and then within a couple of minutes scored his first Brentford goal. Not a thing of beauty, but they all count. Canos continued to impress with his tackling and led some breakaway attacks after the Bees had been reduced to 10 men. A very impressive cameo.

Sheyi Ojo (Wolves) - started game played 60 minutes in 2-2 against Ipswich Town
Lloyd Jones (Blackpool) - injured
Vigouroux, Williams, Stewart (Swindon Town) - Vig full game, Williams not in squad, Stewart not in squad (both injured)
Harry Wilson (Crewe) - played last 20 in 1-5 defeat
Danny Ward, Ryan McLaughlin (Aberdeen) - Ward full game in 1-1 McLaughlin unused sub
Wisdom (Norwich) - full game in 1-0 defeat at Chelsea
Markovic (Fenerbache) - unused sub
Samed Yesil (Lucerne) Unused sub
Ryan Kent (Coventry) played full game in 4-0 win
Taiwo (FSV Frankfurt) - not in squad
Sergi Canos (Brentford) - came on at 61 mins and scored first goal for Brentford in 2-1 win
Balotelli (Milan) No game injured
Ilori (Villa) not in squad
Alberto (Deportivo) Not in squad

{td}Excellent today. Brought momentum and provided the chasing down that was missing in the first 50 mins. Could have easily had two, some good runs

I have rarely seen a substitute have the type of impact he had today: he singlehandedly changed the entire tenor and atmosphere of the match. With his first touch the game turned from being a soporific, turgid affair to a one full of zest and passion! Pretty remarkable stuff tbh!

He can tackle and seems to play through the player as though they are not there. Givehim 20 mins every game if we are not already winning.

Think we have to accept he will have off games. The lad is 18 and today he showed his talent. Its just going to be a case of him becoming consistent. Love his commitment and passion for such a young lad.

Great attitude, energy and enthusiasm coupled with bags of talent.
I just love the fact that he's barking mad, totally up for it and obviously loves his football.
And no Billy big bollox about him at all, his social media comments show just how much he's enjoying his time here.
Good luck to the lad, I really hope he makes it.{/td}

On-loan Coventry City star Ryan Kent helped by Liverpool FC heroes Steve McManaman and Robbie Fowler

Sky Blues forward determined to get among the goals after impressive spell against Bradford
  • Sky Blues forward determined to get among the goals after impressive spell against Bradford

Ryan Kent has already proved that he can run with the ball like Steve McManaman – and now he’s aiming to master the art of left-foot finishing exemplified by Robbie Fowler.

Kent revealed he has received specialist coaching from the two Anfield legends as Liverpool work on developing his massive potential.

And having netted just one goal in his 11 loan appearances at Coventry – a stunning right-foot swerver against Barnsley – he is particularly determined to improve his goals tally.

“I don’t mind playing anywhere along the front three,” he explained, “and I get more goals from the No.10 position. But at the moment I probably prefer playing out on the left, getting the ball, going at players one v one and cutting in on my right to shoot.

“Recently I’ve been playing more on the right but when I cut in my left-foot shooting hasn’t been as good as it has been in the past.

"I’m two-footed but I do prefer shooting with my right because I feel I’ve got more accuracy instead of lashing at it with my left and that’s definitely something I need to work on in training.

“I’ve got a lot of experience around me, especially here at Coventry, back at Liverpool and in the England camp as well. At Liverpool we had ex players coming in – Steve McManaman helped me with my dribbling and Robbie Fowler with my finishing.”

Kent was used as an impact player in Tuesday’s 0-0 draw at Bradford City, where his electrifying pace spearheaded a late push for the winner, and he accepts that he has to fight for his League One opportunities.

“Coming into a first-team environment I’ve come to terms with the fact that you’re not always going to get your own way,”he said.

“That’s a learning curve, something I’ll have to adjust to and improve – making the right decisions at the right times and picking my moments when to go one v one.

“You always want to play but I didn’t think i had my best game against Gillingham at the weekend. We’ve got a good squad and there are always players who can come in and perform well so there’s never a definite position in the team.

“I like to think I made an impact when I went on at Bradford – we needed to get that energy going forward again and I created a few chances.”

'He's faster than Gareth Bale!' - Alan and Andy on Ryan Kent

Sky Blues boss Tony Mowbray has based his tactics this year on the pace of Kent, Adam Armstrong and Jacob Murphy, explaining: “Every successful football team has speed and power in their ranks. It’s something we identified at the start of the season.

“There are time when we have to defend and we have worked hard on keeping shape behind the ball and aware that on the change of possession we can hit back with a real threat of speed going the other way.”

Speaking minutes after Tuesday’s match, Mowbray mused: “It’s an unbelievable sight watching him in full flow – have you ever seen a player travel so fast with the ball?”

And Kent is fully aware of his prime asset, explaining: “The game’s evolving and in the new generation of football you have to be so quick mentally and physically.

“All players seem to be quicker than they were in the past but you see quite a lot of players who are really quick but can’t carry the ball with them.

“I think that’s a good trait of mine to be able to travel with the ball at speed especially something I’m going to work on.”

Kent was never into sprinting (“I used to do athletics when I was younger but I never took it really seriously”) and he has no idea what about his 100m best.

But is it safe to assume the clock would read quick? “Yes,” he smiled, “I would say so...”

Wisdom impresses against Arsenal, Ward and Vigouroux in fine form – Liverpool FC Loan Watch Roundup
Ben Twelves on 30.11.2015
It was very much a week of more mixed action for the 18 Reds’ loanees, seven of which played for their temporary sides and 11 who were frustrated in their quest for extensive match action.

This week’s big plus was Andre Wisdom, who is finally enjoying a run of action for Norwich and completed a third consecutive 90 minutes in their 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Sunday.
Wisdom impressed at right back, turning in a solid defensive performance up against Alexis Sanchez and the free-roaming Gunners, and he provided a composed and reliable outlet when it was needed for Alex Neil’s side.
The Canaries should have taken the lead when the 21-year-old carved out an excellent chance for Wes Hoolahan to put Norwich 2-1 ahead, with the midfielder blazing over a perfectly weighted delivery that was put on a plate by Wisdom, who enjoyed a good afternoon at Carrow Road.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, Tiago Ilori was again left out of match-day involvement by Aston Villa boss Remi Garde, who watched his side suffer a 3-2 home defeat at the hands of Watford at Villa Park.
In the Championship, Sheyi Ojo started amongst the substitutes for Wolves on Saturday, but entered in the second half as Kenny Jackett turned to the teenager to make the difference in their goalless draw with MK Dons.

Ojo – who has endured a period of struggle in recent weeks – almost made the impact hoped after coming on to the left of midfield, with his teasing cross only needing an elusive touch to be diverted in on an afternoon of frustration at Molineaux.

Academy product, Will Marsh, who joined Sheffield Wednesday on a youth loan deal on Friday, was left out of the Owl’s squad for their 2-2 draw away at Blackburn, with the Reds youngster reported to be a signing for the club’s development squad.
Meanwhile, north of the border, Danny Ward, played 90 minutes and helped Aberdeen to a 3-1 win over Ross County on Saturday – a game in which the Welshman made big saves at big moments to ensure victory for Derek McInnes’ men.

Fellow Red Ryan McLaughlin – also at on loan at Pittodrie – was left out of the Dons’ squad altogether for the victory.
For the second week running, there was contrasting fortunes for the three loaned Reds in League One.
Lawrence Vigouroux enjoyed a much improved week of action for Swindon after shipping five goals last weekend, with the stopper turning in a great performance – including making one spectacular stop – to help the Robins claim a shock 2-1 win over promotion chasers, Walsall, on Tuesday.
The Chilean and his side built on their excellent result of midweek on Saturday, with Vigouroux keeping a clean sheet as Swindon romped to a 4-0 victory at Chesterfield – a result which saw Spireites manager and former Liverpool striker, Dean Saunders, sacked after the game.

The score-line suggests it was an easy afternoon for Vigouroux, but the ‘keeper still had to be at his best to ensure of three points, pulling off a couple of superb stops in the second half in particular, to deny the Spireites a way back into the contest.
Ryan Kent featured twice for Coventry – playing an injecting cameo role in the final 20 minutes of the Sky Blues’ 0-0 draw against Bradford at Valley Parade, where he made a real positive impact but couldn’t produce the match winning moment after coming on.
The youngster returned to the starting XI after a bright substitute appearance and played 90 minutes of the Sky Blues’ 2-2 draw against Doncaster, turning in a quieter display, but still posing a threat, on the left of City’s attack this time.

In the first of two games this week, it was an evening of mixed emotions for Harry Wilson, who enjoyed a rare start for Crewe in their 3-2 win at Colchester on Tuesday, but was hauled off for a flat display after 56 minutes with Alex 2-0 down before the miraculous comeback.
The result saw Wilson dropped from back to the bench on Saturday for the visit of Oldham, and the Wales international spent the afternoon as an unused substitute as Crewe recorded back to back wins with a 1-0 victory.
Lazar Markovic was an unused substitute for a much changed Fenerbahce side for their 2-0 Europa League victory over Molde, and the Serbian will hope to return to the Fener starting XI on Monday night for their clash against Trabzonspor.

Meanwhile, Sergi Canos could feature in the Championship’s Monday night football clash between Brentford and Bolton, a game that the Spaniard will hope to come into the starting side for after scoring and producing an impressive cameo display last weekend.

Liverpool FC loaned players this week
  • Wisdom – Norwich – Played 90 mins vs. Arsenal
  • Markovic – Fenerbahce – Unused sub vs. Molde
  • Ilori – Aston Villa – Left out of squad
  • Ojo – Wolves – Played 25 mins vs. MK Dons
  • Ward – Aberdeen – Played 90 mins vs. Ross County
  • McLaughlin – Aberdeen – Left out of squad
  • Marsh – Sheffield Wednesday – Left out of squad
  • Kent – Coventry – Played 20 mins vs. Bradford & 90 mins vs. Doncaster
  • Wilson – Crewe – Played 56 mins vs. Colchester & unused sub vs. Oldham
  • Vigouroux – Swindon – Played 90 mins vs. Walsall & Chesterfield
  • Yesil – Luzern – Unused sub vs. Basel
  • Awoniyi – Frankfurt FSV – Left out of squad
Injuries
Mario Balotelli, Luis Alberto, Jordan Williams, Kevin Stewart and Lloyd Jones all missed out on action again as they continue to be side-lined with their respective injuries.

Markovitc was a sub for Fenerbahce coming on in the eightieth minute with his side winning 1-0.
They eventually won 2-0.

Canos also started on the bench for Brentford coming on at seventy minutes, shortly after Bolton scored an equalizing goal.
He seen plenty of the ball once he came on, often a simple first time pass or a clever flick, one creating a great chance for McCormack who laid it off rather than choosing to shoot.
Looks like he could thrive with better players around him.

Harry Wilson recalled from Crewe loan by Liverpool

CREWE, LATEST NEWS UPDATE: DECEMBER 01, 2015 6:48 PM

Teenager Harry Wilson has been recalled from his loan spell with Crewe by parent club Liverpool.
The 18-year-old, who has already been capped by Wales, agreed to join the Alex until January back in August.
However, after making just seven appearances, only three of which were starts, he has now returned to Anfield ahead of schedule.

Sergi Canos started for Brentford in Head Coach Dean Smith's first game in charge. High winds made conditions difficult but as the Bees settled into the game Canos became more effective. He hit the bar midway through the first half (arguably he should have scored). He was forced off with an injury just after the hour mark but had contributed well to a fluent Brentford display. A couple of years ago I watched Teixeira on loan at Brentford and he looked a boy amongst men. Canos looks far more powerful and confident at a younger stage in his development.
