End of the day, despite being about £200 out of pocket that I didn't need to be - nobody died so I'm not going to castigate those people. Life's simply too short and I'd rather go through it with a smile on my face than being bitter and miserable.

Yeah that's shit dude. I remember sending you a pm to say I wouldn't be able make it. Would have been a right session but had lots on in Jan with moving house, saving for travelling etc.

As for Paddy, he's bleating on FACEBOOK about having the worst 3-4 days of his life, but he's grand now etc. I think he needs to apologise and explain himself to Dave. Then we move on. Just like we always have.

No didn't invite mate. If I'd known those 30-40 people weren't gonna show could have invited lots more the room has a limit.

I think Paddy's being really smart, cos he's obviously lurking in here, he's now planting random stories on FB to make it seem like he's had this horrid time so everyone feels sorry for him and forgives him.

I think we should all lighten up though, it would be a shame for him to stop posting cos of this, as long as he pays Dave back, I think the whole thing should just be forgotten.
 
I did have a great night Sunny, so did the missus.

Regards the point Neets made earlier, about the forum being too trusting, that's not true. If we werent this trusting we'd never have met up in the first place & I'd be short about 10 really good mates, & that's not including people I've met through them.

Aye that's right. Also (this is gonna sound like BS, but it's what was updated) there was talk of having to move house, this seemingly having something to do with the visit to the Doc.

Yep, uni work to hand in, relieved it was done, & has to move house, then inferred it was under 'docs orders'. I dont get it, nothing adds up for me. I'm tempted to call BS, but I take Sunny's view, provided dave gets his cash back & the lad apologises then it aint the end of the world. A bunch of flowers to the lass who waited for him in the cold wouldnt go amiss either.
