The not so Official January Transfer Rumour Thread

Di Santo and Butland in January with Reina going to Arsenal according to the Mirror.

I read that as Di Santo and BULLARD and to he honest, I wasn't surprised considering the woeful players linked with us lately.

We're going to send our #1 to replace Hugo Lloris? Why not just trade them for one another, and not sign Butland?

Reina to the gooners, not Spurs. Anyway, in present form, he's not a significant upgrade over Szczczczczczczceny. But seeing as Friedal has just signed a new contract, we could do worse than try to tempt Lloris away, rather than break the bank for Butland. Lloris may have had an underwhelming start to life in England, but I'm convinced he'll get better.

Reina is still young for a keeper however I believe we should consider starting afresh in goal.

He has the look of a man waiting to be beaten and no longer cares.

If we sign Di santo ill be devastated

But he has just had an international call up

But with the current Argentina front line its still not bad to get a cap

He is shite though

Di Santo can hold the ball up okay. He's not terrible and I guess he's come in as 'Plan B'.

I hope it's just a lazy link based on the fact that he was at Chelsea.

Lets put this to bed right now. If we sign Di Santo, that's it for me.
The cunt has scored 27 goals. IN HIS WHOLE FECKING CLUB CAREER.
That's 27 goals since 2006. 27 goals in six, seven years. For a striker.
Fuck me. It's the beginning of the end.

The Mirror is ALWAYS right though! Sack Rodgers for being linked with a shite player in a shite newspaper!

Daily Mail says Lewandowski signing for ManU for ONLY GBP18m!
That's probably cos he wants to be in a successful team and win things, so he wants to go there, crapper teams would have to pay more of a premium if he wanted to come at all.
Which is the whole top and bottom of things, we can't go out and just sign who we want in our position, we just have to try and improve and hope that who we but turns out as good or better than we hoped, it's called building.

That would be fantastic. Sissoko can leave on a free in 6 months and Belhanda has got 18 months left.

Sadly, I cant see us spending to much money.

All the Neymar talk is just a smoke screen for Quaresma. That deal has been 5 years in the making.

Which is in turn a smokescreen for Zidane - who's house has been demolished and rebuilt to new specifications. Unfortunately the builders he's using are the ones building LFC's new stadium, and progress has been painfully slow since the turn of the century.
