I know you knew what was going on Avvy 😉

I'm heartily encouraged by the turnout from this forum for this game chaps. Looking forward to it.

Me too mate.
I'm open to suggestions for good boozers to frequent on the Saturday night lads.

Depends what you want Stu.

You could head down Matthew Street like every other stag and hen do. I think it's shite myself.

Victoria Street has a few more swanky bars

Concert Square is a good popular choice. Lively and lots of bars.

Further up you have bars like Mojo, Heebie Jeebies, La'go, Masque etc.. cooler bars with the best music.

Where you stopping ?

Satying in the International mate, part of the Cocoon place. You know it?
I absolutely do not want to do the standard shit. I've been down Matthew Street before anyway. I'd like to go a place that has good tunes and a load of fit birds.

Nah, im fucked if i know whats going on

Firstly, thanks to Sean (as per usual) for his role in getting me a ticket, & to ILD for doing the hard work getting the contact & arranging it, & last but not least to Stu, for offering to go get the tickets tomorrow.

A fine show of solidarity for a fine forum.

Secondly, let's hope Sunday is as good a craic as this thread has been!

Right.

Well you could start at the top of Hardman Street in The Philharmonic Pub. Classic old boozer.

Loads of bars on Hardman Street - if you're starting early Fly On The Loaf is a real ale pub but there's loads of others. Flute - cheap and cheerful. Hannahs , Bumper etc...

Note. If you want a REALLY late bevvy there's Magnet on Hardman Street

Off Hardman Street on the left hand side (as you walk DOWN the hill) there's Pilgrim Street where you'll find The Pilgrim (a favourite of mine - a shithole mind but loads of character) and there's a road left off Pilgrim Street where you'll find Ye Craic pub which is a big student favourite (as is the Pilgrim)

If you move down the hill turn left after the bombed out church and take your third right into Seel Street. Good alehouse at the top called Pogue Mahone

A little down on the right is Back Berry Street where you'll find Mojo. Doesn't getting going till later like many bars.

Further down you find La'Go on the right and Heebies on the left. Again dont get moving till late

Bit further down you'll see the swanky Alma De Cuba on the left and opposite and square where you'll find The Peacock (good music) and one of the many Revolutions in Liverpool on the other side of the square. Bit dancy this one for my likings.

Further down again at a crossroads you have Slater Street with loads of cheep cheerful bars and pubs including the Jacaranda

Keep on down the hill you'll hit Concert Square.

You're spoilt for choice Stu really. There's tons of bars I havent mentioned but even if you keep within Hardman Street, Seel Street, Wood Street, Slater Street and Concert Square you're probably taking 80+ bars.

To be honest once past Concert Square there's another Revolution and a few more bars but little else until the evil Matthew Street\Cavern Quarter

No hassle Jon. I was always keeping you in mind when the lad said he had spares.

Yeah thanks to Stu who kindly is collecting them. (Ross also offered btw). Thanks to the count again. God this is like the Oscars with all the thanks being thrown out. Glad I can help out too.

Yeah Sunday should be good craic now. WAIT, IS ANDY COMING?
