The Countessa and my younger boy have fan cards which are next to useless these days, which they got in 2004 for a fiver.
Neither of them would have much interest in going to games so there was no point in upgrading their fan cards to membership cards when I did the other two at the cost of £30 a go.

I'm thinking now this is not worth the risk unfortunately.
They're not the type to mouth off at any time and especially not in a pub next to Anfield on a match day.
But we'll be on the sauce pretty much all weekend and you can never tell what could happen then.

I soooo wanted to get over for this game and the drinkies. Sadly it can't be done this time as my wife is out of town this weekend, and I'm at home with my daugther. Just got to know a Norwegian lad through some friends who can get tickets to any game, and has been over 13 times this season already.

Next year though, I'm definetly over for drinkies and a match.

[/quote]Yea, if I get enough advance notice I would usually manage to get leave if I am due to work that weekend.
Advance notice is also good for getting a better deal on flights etc.
 
Good news, just rang the lad with the tickets and he's legit. He works in the crown plaza in Santry. Do the Dublin lads know it? He has three tickets and will be there all day today and tomorrow. It'd be unbelieveable if any of ye could collect them for me. I can transfer the money into a bank account tonight or even paypal it. What ever suits. He said to pass on his number and he can make sure it all goes smoothly. He has the tickets on him.

You can give me cash on the day. Stu is collecting the tickets for me so once he has them in his hand we're sorted. There is one for anny road so I might give that one to your friend and i'll sit with FFF and Ross (if he comes).

I'm always hoping to make it to a drinkies but it always seems to coincide with other things (this Sunday I'm running the manchester 10k) so hopefully early next season I'll finally make an appearance.
 
That 10k will only take an hour Pesam. No excuse.

True but firstly, I'll be in much pain as my training over the last few weeks has not gone well and secondly the 7 of us who are running together are going to get pissed after the race. There will be no excuses for the first drinkies of next season - promise.
