If Xabi isnt pissed off with Rafa, there is no reason we shouldnt have Tevez, Mascher, Alonso & Barry in the squad. It'd mean we'd finally have a bench that began to match Utd's & Chelsea's in at least one area of the pitch. Tevez & Barry are both flexible enough to mean they'd not be fighting over just two spots in the side.

I think people will be surprised about what we receive back on Dossena, if recent Premiership to Serie A transfers are anything to go by. And he's still highly rated over there, and an international, so..

Also Voronin has just had a good season, so why won't anyone buy him?

Regards Babel, I've not heard any interest, so I think expecting around £8m is a bit much, considering we quite clearly don't rate the lad, the buying side have more than a healthy bargaining position.

Weve been quoted anywhere between 25 and 50m as our transfer budget, with sales 52m outlay is a reasonable figure, being as we spent 40m last year and only sold crouch of any note and we are 2 places higher this year. to cut a long story short I can't see us earning more than 15m (at most) in sales. if the board are serious about their 20m plus sales I don't see who we can get beyond tevez. although I could live with that and just keep everything crossed for no injuries.

According to reports we've already made at least 1.5-2M on Hobbs and Anderson. It's not unrealistic to expect something around 5M for Voronin and Leto.

That's around 7M before we've even touched the first team squad or any other of the reservists / loanees.
