Apparantly all the big clubs have some sort of agreement not to give contracts to players who have done that at another big club.

Well their is that scenario.. However before that deadline comes into play, he will be sold in January to a club of Fergie's preferred destination...

he is doing it because he knows he has to sell him in January, or risk losing out on a decent transfer fee.

The good news for us is that if someone like City or Barca goes for Rooney then they're less likely to go for Torres.

I just heard Woy saying that Wayne is definitely on the way. It started pissing down a minute later and I didn't get a chance to get the details but he certainly said that Wayne would be here shortly.

That makes sense.

It seemed really opportunistic that Rooney would come out in the media to cross Fergie. He wouldn't get the sort of wages at United that he will at City and he's made an excuse for himself to go now.

Yeah, the blues in work were positively convinced he's buying out his contract & coming back to them. Obe even dared say it was 'probably his plan all along', needless to say she ignored me when I pointed out that the ruling re buying out ones contract hadnt been made when he signed for them.

Re FFF: he's won everything there is to won really and if there was a player thick enough to do that, it's Rooney
