So excited about this one, though so decking worried about either one of Flanno or Cissokho starting the game. Sturridge is unlikely to start too, right?

Anybody have team new/rumours/bid theory?

Sturridge not starting may not be that bad tbh.

He's looked below par for a few weeks (despite scoring!) & with their midfield we could make an extra body count there.

True, and it's great that we have the best centre forward in the world to call upon. Hope Coutinho has a good game today. We need him to.
I think Bloodzeed's streaming the game today, so for those that don't have it, get Acestream installed and click on Bloodzeed's link that should show up on this page:

This is a real test for Rodgers, we go into this one knowing a win will put us top of the league, if only for a short period, in the past that knowledge often seemed to stifle us and we would seize up rather than seize the opportunity. I still don't think this team is capable of winning the title but if we will learn a little bit more about the mental strength of most of the team after this one, there arent many players in the side left from when we last challenged for the title many of them have only played for us during our mid table era.

So the question is have we stuffed out team full of above mediocre players who will freeze under pressure or have we got a team of ambitious up and coming players ready to prove people wrong. A win puts us 6 points clear of Everton and a defeat brings them level with us and most likely sees us drop a couple of places.

Big test for us, more relevant than the Arsenal game in terms of progress in my opinion as I never thought we would win that. Cant wait!

Tim Howard's fecking beard is ridiculous. I bet if someone pointed a magnet at his chin it would all be gone in an instant.

I keep expecting him to be renditioned from the tunnel before kick off by a team of masked men in black & whisked off in a helicopter.

Confirmed #LFC team v @Everton: Mignolet, Johnson, Flanagan, Agger, Skrtel, Lucas, Gerrard, Allen, Henderson, Coutinho, Suarez

I really hope Flanno has a good game. I really hope he proves all of us except the three members who think he's good, wrong.

Allen needs to step up today, at least theres no Fellaini to rag him around in this one, i worry about Flanagan, please just win Liverpool, make it a good day.

Sturridge hasnt been fit for a few weeks. Should have been rested midweek. Ah well, we finally got some good options on the bench.

Midfield will be key. Will be a really tight game imho.

I'd rather Johnson played at left back. Having said that Flanno has been played on the left a couple of times recently in the ressies and did very well.

Really wanted to give your post a Like for the team news, but I just can't with Flanno in there.
He'll certainly be better than the last game he played when he had to do the wingback role which he's absolutely incapable of doing. Hope he has a stormer, obviously.

Really hope Allen has a good game.

Best of luck to Flanagan too. Wisdom got the run around from Kevin Mirrales last season so it won't be easy.

Any Everton team yet?

Coutinho left, Allen middle, Henderson right? Would have liked to have seen Coutinho behind Suarez.

Howard, Baines, Distin, Jagielka (c), Coleman, Barry, McCarthy, Pienaar, Barkley, Mirallas, Lukaku. Subs: Robles, Heitinga, Jelavic, Deulofeu, Naismith, Osman, Stones

---------------Mignolet--------------
Johnson-Skrtel--Agger-Flanno
------------Lucas--Allen-----------
Henderson-Gerrard-Coutinho
--------------Suarez--------------

Maybe Flanno and Johnson on the opposite flanks.

I understand

There is practically zero goal threat apart from Suarez in that team. Hopefully Gerrard has licence to go forward more and it's not Allen that's pushed further up as is normally the case.

Flanno and Allen could be two very hated men in a couple of hours..
Hopefully they'll be heroes!!

Come on Redmen!!

Thats the worry, this was going to happen sooner or later, its time for some of the supporting cast to step up. Henderson, Allen, Coutinho havent got a goal between them this season, Gerrard has 2, not good enough the midfield has to start picking up some of the slack
