Didn't watch it, as I was playing football. Probably for the best. A 2-0 victory is way beyond my expectations for that match. We've often looked godawful (and come close to losing) in these early European qualification matches before. It happened in 2004-05, I remember. So to win by two goals away from home with what was almost a reserve side is very impressive - IF YOU DIDN'T SEE THE GAME.
It wasnt that bad Bunst, it was just so damn comfortable it was hard to get enthused. We played ok and did a job.

I take it Macedonians don't like Greeks
No, we dont like greeks. As the greeks stole some of our land and refuse to sanction our name "Republic of Macedonia" in the EU

Yes, Amoos is struggling. Spearing also looks off the pace a bit.
Spearing is terrible. I cant believe he is still at Liverpool. He's about the 4th best Centre midfielder on the pitch here.

I said this at the start of this thread. He is fucking SHIT

Oh, right. Silly me.

Alexander the great was from Macedonia
you're taking the piss, right? sometime I can't tell with you.
Um, I thought he was?
if you tell the greek that they would go ape shit, he was from the kingdom of macedon, the greeks resent macedonia being called macedonia because people make the assumption it is the same 'macedonia' as Alexander.
Red Maradona, your obviously an idiot and have no fucking clue about anything to do with the macedonian/greek history. He was macedonian, who killed many many greeks. so i suggest if you dont know shit, dont say you do 😉

These 6 Brazilians didn't move to Macedonia because they were good did they..
No. They got tricked. Like Iceland and Greenland changed the names round to confuse invading Saxons. All stood there scratching their heads.

"Where's the green? It's just snow"

Macedonia blagged it was Macedon to entice Brazilians thinking they were going to find a load of birds with hairy fangitas.
Seriously you bellends, where the fuck is/ was Macedonia?
Its in the middle of kosovo, serbia, bulgaria, greece and albania

His father King Phillip the 2nd was a Macedonian, so pretty sure that would not make Alexander The Great greek. So im guessing you were in his army? thats how you know he took the greek culture? Like i said before, go read all these history books regarding all the shit that happened back in the day when he was king, and you will realise he was Macedonian

OK, he's Macedonian. I'll take your word for it. But it's not uncommon that different country's try to claim prominent people.
BTW your namesake Zlatan Ibrahimovic is claimed by the Bosnians even though he's born in Sweden and represents us at a national level.

Yes, Zlatan..I knew he was Macedonian.

But if you'd read those same history books you'd know what Jules and me are talking about.

Under his rule, Macedonia was a virtual standard-bearer of Greek civilization.

And he did borrow many elements of most civilizations he conquered. He did burn Persepolis down, supposedly in retaliation for the burning of Athens (by Xerxes I think), but Jules is perfectly right..he did adopt many elements of Persian culture into his own life.

Ive read many books on it, and heard many stories about it from the older people. So ive dealt with this shit my whole life, point is just because he adopts another culture doesnt mean he is suddenly persian or greek etc. Im just stating the fact and that was the he was born as a Macedonian and died a Macedonian
