Horse placenta fluid ? Well hello Mrs Frankenstein. Does that mean they will grow heads like RvN ?

No way either will be ready for this weekend and how can we be ANYWHERE near out best team without Torres ? Even if he is the only one missing then that's 1/3 of our best team right there.

It's been mentioned on another forum by someone decent that he'll be in the squad.

We'll see.

If it does happen though, you can be damn sure I'll be all 'in yer faces' on here for weeks.

He may make the bench but I think it'll be some time before Pacheco is considered for the first team.
I got the impression from that 'Tomkins meets Rafa' article that Rafa still thinks Danny is too slight and has major reservations about him being able to hack it physically.

Reina
Johnson
Insua
Agger
Caragher
Kuyt
Benayoun
Lucas
Mascherno
Gerrard
Ngog
No surprises there really.

its a big test for N'Gog tomorrow. We should learn alot about him.

So still no Aquilani? Damn it to fuck! At least Yossi is back though, and Gerrard of course. And our best CB partnership. Looks like a fairly solid team, assuming the ones coming back from injury are actually fit.

Thanks for the team Mark.

Whats the weather and the weather forecast like on Merseyside? Very bad weather being forecast in Ireland tomorrow morning

He is short of match fitness, didn't you know?

looking forward to seeing more of wash. think he'll do well again.
Should be easy for him if heavy rain is expected.

Is the game in danger if the rain is heavy enough during the night and morning?
No, Anfield has drainage

Cheers for the team info.

It sounds like City might be missing a few players aslo:

"Gareth Barry will face a late fitness check ahead of Manchester City's trip to face Liverpool. The England midfielder picked up a groin injury while on international duty but manager Mark Hughes is hoping the fomer Aston Villa man will be fit.

City are still without Martin Petrov, Craig Bellamy, Robinho, Nedum Onuoha and Benjani as they look to win their first Premier League match since September".

We'll roundhouse Citeh tomorrow.

I don't know exactly what that means but you just wait and see.

I agree, I think we will *batter* them

Sorry, everyone, that's us cursed
I think the ammount of 'jinx' in our predictions will somehow cancel eachother out and we'll ACTUALLY batter them.

*pwetty please*

I'm really glad (and I suspect you are) that Bellamy is out.

I'm dreading this match, but I've also got a good feeling. Hopefully we can get a win and start our season.

Here's hoping..

I'm more hopeful now I've seen those injuries and they've been quite brittle too of late.

COME THE FUCK ON REDMEN!!!

They haven't exactly been flying lately either.

Hopefully we'll turn them over good and proper.

Yup, that's what I meant, brittle in terms of form, they've had a few draws haven't they?

Me too. I have to admit, the kid excites me. He's come on in leaps and bounds from when he first started, he's more seasoned, his movement's better an he can find the back of the net. He's still just 20 years old. A bargain at £1.5m.

I think his movement has always been good, off the ball anyway, he makes good 'striker' runs. Whether he's good enough longterm is another thing, but he's certainly a shining light of sorts.

I think he has all the qualities to be a world class striker, even better than Nando.
