You didn't question .. as in Why ? You made a statement. You're as entitled to your opinion as I am. However you are still wrong.
Go check the Motm thread too.
Henderson was nominated by a few in the top 3.
No one even mentioned Moreno,Lallana and Coutinho whom you thought was better.
I think you're wrong but you've already started you're little hissy fit over it so I'll leave you be.

We gained 2 points on Saints and 3 on Spurs. No change, unfortunately, in regards to the mancs. Since we get no help in stopping Van Gaal and his ragtag group of misfits from the rest of the league, we'll have to do it ourselves next week.
We also gained on Man City and Chelsea 🙂

It's looking like a shootout between us and Utd.
We can't lose Sunday.
It's our biggest game of the season in every possible way.

I reckon Swansea away is a tougher fixture than Spurs home so I'm going to bed thinking we kind of gained on them.

Given we're only 3 and 4 points off them (and yet to play Arsenal again), that's a strange definitive statement.

Sure, mathematically it might seem possible. But with Arsenal's easier schedule (and the fact that we play them away, not home) and City's quality I can't see either of them missing out on top 4 at the end of the season. The only one we can knock out of top 4 is United, so now that we passed Spurs and Saints all focus is on them. We need a big performance from all the players next week.

Credit to Brendan, changed it at half time and it worked very well, with some of the lads playing poorly we still managed to turn the tide.

Fluke goal but I reckon we would have scored and nicked it anyway, at the time we were knocking on the door and they were on the back foot.

So pleased for Stevie, wonderful cameo showing the class he still has and he will be crucial for us in the run in.

The way citeh has been playing lately and their latest results mean that there are 3 CL places yet to be won

Given we'll beat Chelsea in a few weeks (we owe 'em one), we're practically only 7 points off top with 10 games left.

CHAAAAARRRGE!

Allen was sublime.
Ming was excellent when needed.
Sahko and Skrtel were superb at the back. I love Sahkos sliding tackles. It must put the fear of god in attacking players.
Swansea pressed very well in the first half and I don't think it was a case of us playing poorly or not being interested it was merely every player having someone up their arse everytime they got the ball. Couple that with every man in red having a man in white right beside him and you can se why we lost the ball so much.

I felt sorry for Studge, he was isolated for long periods and didn't get much service. I don't think he looked lazy at all
His flick set up the winning goal
He played in Sterling for a good chance
He hit the post and always showed for the ball.

All in all a superb win and fantastic 2nd half.

We have to beat those cunts on Sunday we just have to!

The formation after Gerrard came on was something like 3-1-4-1-1. It's a clumsy way to describe it, but I don't see anything more accurate. 4-4-2 "diamond" in defense? 🙂 In any case the tactical switch essentially removed one attacker in favor of a DM (Gerrard), which allowed Hendo and Allen to push forward more than they could in the 1st half. The goal was scored precisely as a result of this tactical change, so all credit to Rodgers.

---------Can-----Skrtel-----Sakho---------
------------------Gerrard---------------------
Sterling---Hendo----Allen-------Lallana
-----------------Coutinho--------------------
-----------------Sturridge--------------------

I thought it was more 3-4-3, with Gerrard at the base of the diamond 4 in midfield.

He blatantly ducked out of challenges. He's been doing that for several games in a row now.

Yep, shit attitude for the most part.

Also, he doesn't make anywhere near enough runs in behind the defence to stretch teams. Whilst Sterling's a lesser striker than him, I thought we looked better as a side with him up front than Sturridge.

Studge coming back into the side has fucked our rhythm a bit. He just doesn't work hard enough for my liking.
