The agent regulations change in September and will impose much lower fees than agents are earning now.
I'd posted a few months back that I expected them to get up to all sorts of tricks to still earn their corn some other way, but what I hadn't anticipated, which seems quite obvious now, was that they would all try to make an absolute killing in the summer window while they still can.
So the only way to get a deal done is if the player has the bollocks to tell his agent to wind his neck in. And if he doesn't, he's probably not the kind of character you want around the club anyway.
FIFA should have just waited for the summer window to close and then announced the changes with immediate effect to catch them all off guard. Fucking parasites the lot of them.
EDIT - tomasjj has taken the original post down as it looks like it might have been made up, but the point is likely to still be valid - agents will be more of a problem than ever this summer.
