That’ll do for midfield…
Now there are three human beings capable of playing in central midfield for us. What a difference a couple of months makes!!!!!!
Seem to be linked with energetic and athletic players that will give our midfield something it has been lacking.
Fabs as a Centre Back!!!!
Yes… his speed, mobility and physical presence will be ideal for covering Konate & Van Dijk.
After all his defensive qualities have been amazing for the last 12 months.

Look at Matip? Nats? So, the team has to modify it's play to suit a slower back line. Klopp isn't going to sell Fabs, so I am wondering where he fits, and he played CB really well in covid season. He had an awful campaign this year but he was turning it around towards the end of the season
Randomly just watched a YouTube video picking a worst XI of the season, Fabinho was in it. The CB idea is a great one but honestly I’m not sure if he is capable of that either.
It feels wrong kicking such a great player while he’s down but we absolutely have to be looking to next season without him regularly starting. I get the feeling Klopp maybe knows this already but you can never tell with him.

Hendo is here for at least a couple of more season I think. If an offer comes for Thiago its time to sell but I fully expect him to stay until his contract expires.
Yes, I also think Thiago will cling on. We should sell, but I doubt something will occur.

I read that he's off for international duty with Argentina on the 10th of June. A deal is supposed to be agreed before then. The fee seems to be lower than first thought, below 60 mill.
I think Fabinho, Henderson and Thiago still have a lot to offer, just not all together.
Out of the three of them, I’d say Fabinho is most likely to start as first choice. Yes he had a bad season (along with lots of players) but he’s the younger of them and should be helped by having some new players alongside him.
I think Bajcetic has shown enough to be a good backup to him and we should see him sharing that role next season,

Macallister - Thuram - Kone
(Jones) - (Gravenburch) - (Bajcetic)
in reserve - Morton
Or something like that, get it all sorted now and we wouldn't need to worry about the midfield for another 4-5 years.
