When they say curb their spending.. it was a threat to UEFA and FIFA that the Gravy train may be stopping unless they let PSG get away with whatever they want.

You're confusing me for @moron . I wanted MFs prior to last summer window, I warned we'd have issues. This summer we will finally get MFs, my only is we won't get enough.

Well, they paid out €728m in wages, that's more than 100% of turnover, I'm sure even they realise that's unsustainable.
If City, Barca, and Juve can be called out, don't see why these guys would be immune. I mean PSG keeps the Ligue 1 relevant, but they've turned the game into a Farmers League there, in the long run it might be worth clipping their wings now
 
Confused. If Klopp was at City they'd still be owned by the Arabs? Meaning he'd be able to freshen the squad when he wanted....he can't do that here. Fans need to get this loyalty crap out their heads.

I did not consider Minamino a failure, and I remember how good Shinji Kagawa was in MF for Dort mund. This young man looks like one of those Moneyball signings.

We already took an expensive gamble on Nunez; might as well go all in and hope that signing a compatriot will make him more comfortable and effective.
 
It’s ok lads - Tielemans is on a free and BiBlueMoronVanomial has an expansive list of targets.
 
We won't get Jude. If anything trent being his bestie will just make Jude move to City to be close to him, but actually win things as well
 
It raises the question again if our squad needs more in terms of players for 120 mill £ than one Jude Bellingham.
Mount looks set to leave Chelsea. Kone looks set to leave Gladbach for 30 mill. Nunes will leave Wolves for 40 mill.
Gvardiol could leave Leipzig.

We would most likely build a better team by spending wisely than blowing the load on Jude. But the problem is, I want Bellingham.
 
It doesn't make sense for either party.

Bellingham has paid his dues at Dortmund and he'll want to go to a team where he can kick on to the next level and win things.

We are now in transition, have limited funds to spend and no CL on offer.

This has been very obvious for months now. He might like the idea of playing for us and with his buddy but that's not going to swing this transfer.

Thankfully there are lots of good young players around. We don't have to get involved with trying to prise players like Mac Allister away from wealthy PL clubs or trying to sign the latest hotness. We can't afford it.

Won't be looking like much of idiots when we go onto winning the big double next season with a midfield of Fab Hendo & Milner.
